I have been considering getting my 2 girls each a "Snuggie" as one of their Christmas gifts this year. I like the idea of them, and they now have some that are Leopard & Zebra printed, but I know little of nothing about them.

But then I saw some versions of the Snuggie (differnt brand & all) that evidently wrap around & snap on, and when not snapped, can double as a blanket (both are way into blankets.) These are in snowflake & camo prints.

What I was wondering is, does anyone own one or has anyone at least seen them?? If so what do yo uthink of them?

Do the Snuggies just cover the front of a person, leaving the back open, and how heavy are they? Warmth is my main goal here---but I am really liking the above mentioned animal prints.

Thanks in advance for any and all advice.

I have one Carol and I love it! Yes it's open in the back. It's like a blanket with sleeves,, and it very long and wide. It could be wrapped around you. It's very light weight but still warm.
My Friend that visited me from CO. used mined while she was here and liked it so much we went to buy her one,, she got leopard print. Mine I got in KS and is KU jayhawk's College Logo.
There are lots of colors and prints and logo's out there, I'd say get your girls one, and Get YOU one, thumbup Glenda and I also bought my mom one while we were in KS,, She uses it constantly.

I LOVE my snuggie! I have the leopard print one. I love leopard print stuff. It's light yet surprisingly warm.

I gave Darbi a Carolina print one for Halloween. It's doesn't snap that I know of but she loves it. Her mom fights her for it. Guess I know something to give Shelley for Christmas.

If you go to the Walgreens online site you can print off a $5.00 coupon. I didn't find the snuggie sale in the Walgreen sales paper.

LOL yes I think you have----and did you all see I got a preview from Wal-greens and they are going to be selling them tomorrow for a bit more than 1/2 off-

I myself have decided to go with the type that wrap around the girls and when not in use can be undone to be a blanket. I KNOW they both love blankets, so either way I cannot lose. I did manage to feel one yesterday in Wal-greens they were so soft !!!
