She really needs Brennan. That first night they said she screamed and cried all night for him. I'm going to have to just take him back there and then let them kick me out of the hospital I guess. If there isn't any improvement by tomorrow I'm going to do just that.

By all means, Rachel, do take Brennan to see her! Let the hospital squawk if they must! But up here, they do allow children in for difficult situations. Her doctor should approve of the visit!

I just got in here and saw Rachel's post. So of course I immediately lit a candle. Rachel never forget that mom is strong. I am continuing to pray for her.

Mommy called me tonight. She is able to talk a lot better than yesterday. I spoke to her nurse and she told me that her chest xray looked a little better than yesterday. She was also able to walk (with help) to the door of her room. She is still having one other problem as a result of the trauma of the surgery.
But I have faith that with time and prayers it will also start to get better. The prayers are working, keep it up!

Mommy called me tonight. She is able to talk a lot better than yesterday. I spoke to her nurse and she told me that her chest xray looked a little better than yesterday. She was also able to walk (with help) to the door of her room. She is still having one other problem as a result of the trauma of the surgery.
But I have faith that with time and prayers it will also start to get better. The prayers are working, keep it up! Awesome news  praying still and always Rachel

Things are about the same today. The past 2 days she had the same nurse. Today there is a new one. She isn't able to tell me as well if Mommy seems to be responding better/worse since she hasn't been with her much yet. I will call again this afternoon and talk with her again.

While I have not been on for a while know my prayers have been for Cindy . I am happy she is doing well she will slowly get better as time goes on. Rachel after I got out of ICU they let some of my great grand kids in to see me so hopefully they let in Brennan to see Cindy.

Jimmy, I'm glad you are doing better. There is a good group of friends here that sure know how to get the prayers through. Unfortunately they won't let Brennan in. Mommy has been in a reg room (not ICU)but they won't let kids in any patient areas. I think she'll be out in a few days probably and we're planning on spending several days with her next week for Thanksgiving. We have so much to be thankful for! Just for good measure lets all keep the prayers going. Goodness knows they never hurt. You have all been here for me once again to support and comfort me. Thank you all so very much. I don't think my words here can possibly convey how much you all mean to me.

I, for one, will not stop praying for her. I hope that you all are able to enjoy the holidays together. I am sure your mom will be happy to have you there. Having Brennan around will help very much I am sure.
I am sure I can speak for all of us when I say that we are happpy to be able to be there for you and your mom. I am sure if the situation were reversed you would do the same for any of us.
