Can somone help my poor jade plant? I should have know better and brought it indoors last night but, I didnt and it froze. Is there anything I can do for it or is it curtains for the poor thing. Thanks!!

Welcome from another NYer - Rockland County here.

You might be able to salvage your jade plant if it didn't freeze through and through. If you scratch the trunk with a fingernail and see some green then it can be saved. If it's all brown and/or limp, then I'm afraid it is too late.

Can you let us know what you find? We can then help you try to bring it back if it's still viable.

May I just add that you need to remove any smooshey parts of the plant to keep the rot from spreading. Use a clean sharp knife to remove small sections of stem at first, so you can assess the damage before going too deep. Even a tiny area of rot that is left behind will spread and grow, so if you are in doubt, cut a little deeper.
Any pieces that you remove can be rooted if the damage area is removed... With patience and little effort, even single leaves can be turned into very cute 'Micro Jades' that will grow and thrive and impress your friends
