How do I eliminate these pest without using anything toxic Help please I have tried garlic and covering the top soil with stones bug be gone and they keep coming back my house is starting to get them everywhere

Welcome JudyVegas. Try sprinkling ground cinnamon on the soil surface.
If you go to the google box on the top right of every page and type in fungus gnats you will get a whole slew of answers but not all of them are the best things for edibles.
