OP backspace Member Joined: Apr 2007 Posts: 2	Hi everyone, this is my first posting i have joined this forum hoping to get advice and make new `net` friends i have recently started to grow a veg garden for the first time and although some say it`s easy im finding it daunting although im enjoying every minuet, my very first question is as follows: my little gem lettuce (which are on my window sill) have germinated but i have read im supposed to `thin` them at what stage? iv been told to wait for true leaves?????? as the ones at the moment will die HELP!!!!!!

Gardening can be one of the most frustrating things ever, heat, cold, freezes, wind burns, bugs, fertilizers, plowing, hose's and never ending.. but once you're hooked, YOU ARE HOOKED!!!
