I have a large pampas grass that has not bloomed in quite a few years. It still has a large green grass base, but does not ever have plumes. It is at least 10 or more years old, from before I bought the house. Not sure what to do to help it. Any ideas??

Have you ever cut the grass down for winter?

The reason of not bloomed may be immaturity. Pampas grass does not bloom for the first three to five years and it should be grow in full sun and dont fertilize it. When the pampas grass reaches maturity it will start blooming.

Immaturity is one of the reason for not blooming and secondly if the grass has cut down for any reason. Make sure your pampas grass gets full sun light and water them regularly. When it attains the maturity it will start blooming.
