I live in an area with very cold winters. I tried to save a perennial grass (stepia ponytail and blue fiscue) before by covering it with peat and leaves but it didn't make the winter.
Could I bring something like this in the house, or will it just die off? Any suggestions?

P.s Right now I have them in a supersized flower pot, will it help to put them in the ground somewhere?

I'd get them in the ground an apply a heavy mulch ASAP. I'm not familiar with the Ponytail Grass but the Blue Fescue should do fine over the winter (in the ground)... Most grasses are pretty durable so the Ponytail should do OK too if it isn't semi tropical
