i'm by no means as seasoned a gardener as everyone here, but for the past 4/5 years, i've noticed frost has been coming later and later. when my grandparents were still here a good ten years ago, i remember seeing frost around the first week of school. but it's a day before october now and there hasn't been any (knock on wood) it's gonna hit any time now, now that i jinxed it, but i really want the season to be over. its was such a bad year for me, and come frost everything will be wiped down to a clean slate...almost!
