It's been a long busy day and I'm beat. Time for bed. I did manage to get some pictures of me in dresses onto my blog. I'm starting to feel nervous about having a wedding now. It's really real.

Good morning. I've been up and out today already. Just moving water around. Too dark to really do anything yet. Waiting for the sun to come out again. Heading for my second cup.

It's a cool crisp morning here-hubby did the school runs now and is outside watering everything,,,,I woke up with a scratchy throat so I am chugging orange juice and airborne- can not get sick.... not now!
Carrie said she wanted me to give her a perm today- but haven't heard from her yet- assumming after Nicoli goes to school so have a couple hours to get some stuff done- want to wash windows sometime today- always try to get it done before the snow flies... and with the leaves changing now and highs heading down every day and lows getting lower- it's on it's way..... oh well -got lots of wood for the woodstove and a few winter projects planned....

I took Ted to school and then stopped at the store for things forgotten yesterday. I'll have to do Home Depot on my way to pick him up this afternoon. I didn't want to waste all of the cool of the morning.
I came home and cranked up my pole saw. I've got it extended as far as it goes and am poking holes in the canopy as much as I can. A friend walked by walking his dog so I had him watch the road for by-passers so I could get a couple of branches stretching out there too.
I got hungry so brought myself in for a quick bite to stave off starvation. I'm heading back out now to get some more done. This is fun stuff. And the weather is unseasonably cool. I am so grateful for the weather we have had. Without it I wouldn't be nearly so far along in my efforts. So while I feel for the rest of the country that didn't have much of a summer, I am so happy ours was so moderate.

Just dropping in to say "Hi".

Today I went to ceramics and then went to get my mom to take her to an eye drs appointment. She then took me out to eat---clap--- So I had a nice day.
-
unseasonably cool around here.--but it is nice I must say--at the very least it beats sweating a lot. 81*F now and not the humidity there usually is with this kind of temperatures. our weather man said we do not get this type of cooler weather until say the middle of October--- why

I'm up. I have been for a couple of hours and not too sure why.
I am about ready to head for more coffee. I know I will be napping later today.
I hope you have a lovely day, Carol.

I have been out wreaking havoc with my pole saw. Now I have to drag all of that stuff down the cliff and then into piles. I needed to come in and cool down and grab a bite. Back at it now.

My arms are killing me. But I am grateful that I am not having to get out the loppers and cut that stuff in my piles down further. I have a lot of 15-20 ft branches all stacked with the trunks in one direction. That can be half loaded and dragged to the green waste. It will still take at least a half dozen trips or more. And now I can get the weedy stuff below those trees with my weedeater. Those low branches and basal suckers were too thick to walk or work around. There is more to do still. But boy am I feeling better about what is getting done.
And I love half blogging about it here. It disappears.

Can you both rake a nap for me? I'm at work all day and after work I have to cook dinner and wash some towels. No rest for the wicked, that's what Aros always tells me.

No sense advising you to not be nervous! But now is a good time to start learning how to consciously breath!! Like they teach in child-birth class. kissie

Sorry for butting in but i just have to say this out loud (well, you know what I mean) to someone or I will bust.

I think my daughter has a new beau. Pretty sure. We will see. But remember I said it here first-- when everyone else is so surprised, I said it here.

Oh. Boy. I feel better now. (I knew about Kat & Tony before they went public, too. And that turned out well.)

I keep laying on my couch trying to nap and looking out the window at the branches I can't reach even with a pole saw. Makes me itch to go out and do something. But I resisted. It is hot out there. But neither do I get much rest when I do that.

Came home from work, checked the mail. Looked at LL Bean items I can't afford and then recycled the catalog. Started on dinner. Sometimes having to make 2 dinners is a real pain. Oh well, I have their potatoes in the oven while I make my dinner. I'll get mine done first and then heat it up when I get theirs finished. I could eat what I'm cooking for them tonight but it isn't my favorite thing to eat so I guess it's my own fault. I'm making myself peanut sauce chicken with spinach, which is one of my favorites and I haven't made it in a while. Steak, potatoes, and broccoli for the fam. The girls are at soccer practice right now so we'll eat as soon as they get home. Then maybe I can relax for a bit with my book tonight.

Good morning.
No working outside for me this morning. It is a day of appointments and things. But that is good. This old body can use a break. And those piles need to be removed so I have room for more. And it is to be about 100* so too hot to get much done anyway. I have ten 1-3 gallon shrubs due in any day and those will need to get dealt with pretty fast too but not out directly into the garden. So lots of plans for beautification down the road.

Thanks for the refill, Cindy. I woke about an hour earlier than I wanted to, today. But that is all right because I can nap this afternoon. And don't have major plans for physical labor stuff today. But I do have water going on out there. And lots of it. I am so grateful that I don't have a water bill coming in each month.

And nap I did. I had to drive Jonni to her dentist appointment. It is a goodly distance and tricky directions. She is afraid she'll get lost.
Then when we got Ted from school and came home half of my plants from one of my orders had come in. So I was out potting things up to get over their travel shock. And then nap. And water, water, water. It is about 100* out there again but going to dip into comfortable low 90's over the weekend.
I have absolutely no plans as to what is for dinner.

Tropical and sub tropical trees and shrubs, Carol. Sheri asked. They don't all come with common names, or at least not common English names. But those all come with flowers and some are scented.

I accidentally turned off my alarm this morning and slept in longer than I wanted which resulted in me getting to work later than usual. Today was a really busy day at work and I was getting sore before I was even finished. I got off work later than usual and had to get a start on dinner as soon as I got home. Lucky for me tonights dinner included the girls doing some of the work for me so I did get to rest my feet for about a half an hour. Tomorrow morning I go do my run and then my mom is coming for us to go meet with the catering manager at the restaurant where I want to have my wedding. I'll take pics of the room if I can so I can have an idea of how to decorate it. After that it's laundry and house cleaning day. I'm thinking about sitting in a nice hot bath for a bit tonight before I go to bed.

Good morning. Another day has begun. I wonder what it will bring? I hope nice stuff for all.
It is to be hot here again, over 100*. So I know I won't be doing a lot of heavy work outside. But watering is an ongoing project for me. And I am expecting plants in the mail to deal with. So I can keep busy.

I was reading Kenny's post about moving in at school and wondered whatever happened to Bad Planter.
