I've always liked these plants, but haven't had one for a few years, since one of our lovely cats stripped the last one of all its leaves! So when I found a decent one yesterday, I grabbed it! Potted it up to a 4 inch pot this morning and it's now hanging in my kitchen window.

Diane - I'm glad you found one too! The other one I had was not a slow grower - it had very long stems. But the roundish leaves fell off at the slightest touch, and Salem just loved to bat at the plant when she was little, til there was nothing left to it. Hopefully she cannot reach this one hanging by the kitchen window. I'll just have to be sure not to let it get long enough for her to swat at!

YES Diane - they do!!! But they can take a while to grow, just like jade leaves! I've done it a few times - the babies that grow out are soooooo teensy tiny - I actually put 3 leaves in this pot today, that fell off while I transplanted it - since we have the date on this post here, it will be interesting to see how long/if anything grows from them!

I've seen that our walmart, but they look shabby riht now. They've not got a new shipment of them for awhile.I've got 3 that I want. The burro's tail, firestick& purple anemone. The burro's tail is in a sm hanging pot...about the size of a 6 oz cup.I did try some of the leafs that had fell off ( I was actually alone in the garden dept that day...) they didn't go,but was maybe the soil.it got hard.

Hello everybody I got one but it has more pointed leaves I was told it was called donkey's tail but its neat and when some of mine looses its leaves just put it in the pot and it takes off I do not water mine to much maybe every 3 weeks or a month and it looks real good sitting on the kitchen table and seems to like the amount of light it gets so if anyone would like some I can share some leaves with you no problem just let me know?
