Ok just kidding I know how to plant seeds. I do have a question though. For casual gardeners is it difficult to get seeds that you have "dried" out to grow like next season? Example: You take a canteloupe, seed it, rinse the seeds and let them dry out. Place the seeds in jars to assure them staying dry then try and plant them the next season. Would they grow like that or is their another method to help ensure growth of home dried seeds? Just curiuos. why

God bless,

Missy

Depending on the seeds, sometimes I just plant them in peat pots or hanging baskets, or sometimes I soak them for 24 hours if they have a really hard seed coat before planting. Hope this helps. But if you plant them in peat cups, watch them carefully because they dry out fast!

Above the refrigerator is another good place to sprout seeds. They love it there.

You shouldn't have any problems sprouting your seeds unless they are the type of hybrids that are sterile. I think thats called and h2? But I'm not the least bit sure. I wish I had a better memory.
