We were given two hands to hold, two eyes to see, two ears to listen & two legs to walk. But why were we given only one heart?
The other heart was given to another for us to find.

Gee, I don't know why this photo came out so dark! It isn't dark when I am sitting here! I wanted to show off all the shiny surfaces of my sparkling clean desk!

Meantime I'll do what I can to get a picture with more light in it. But even so, you notice Banter Hall is on my monitor? lol

So who else has a desk that is a joy to behold?! I'd love to see photos!

well I can see it pretty good Merme,, that's a really nice computer you have there,, Don't ya love a clean desk?
My desk used to stay clean for about two weeks. then I'd take notes and papers would be everywhere,, Now that I have a lap top I just carry it around with me from room to room and don't take notes anywhere unless I make a note in the puter in microsoft notes,, so No more mess, lol

I guess I could put a photo of my computer desk up in your thread, merme--
BUT I do not think I would go so far as to clean it up for the occasaion.
--I have quite a lot of stuff on this desk:
some because I use it here, thumbup
some because I want it here for me to look at, bow
and
some because there is just nowhere else to put it. lol

This is my desk about 3 minutes ago.. and the new desktop too... with GH open of course... my desk stays pretty neat cause I am just a little OCD and can't stand it otherwise.

My computer desk stays clean for only a few hours before it is a mess. I clean it up once a month.

I can't remember to take a picture of my desk. I want to get a smaller desk. Mine is gigantic. I need to minimize.

We will be home all day, today. Anyone who wants to come and clean my study can stay for Sunday supper. The study is the room you have to go through to get to the upstairs and to the basement. Thus, it has become the dumping ground for everything. It's really quite a mess! And of course, it must be clean & tidy before tomorrow.

I feel ya on that one,, My computer room had become the "catch all" room for about 3 years before Shirley came to visit. Talk about a motivating drive to get it together,it took about 4 hours before I even found the day bed in there shock lol I finished cleaning and sorting yadda yadda in about 10 hours so she could have that room as her room while visiting. I'm proud to say it's still clean and dust free. and NO more using it for a catch all room, thumbup.

Unfortunately, our apt is far too small to have a "catch all" room... each room must be used for its intended purpose. So we have "catch all" spaces... my desk, mostly! lol Though my file cabinet is running a close second to the kitchen table which drives me crazy because I like the table cleared off and ready.

Man, living in small spaces sure can be headache inducing!

I got a desk today! Sorry about the poor picture quality. My camera isn't handy and I've never used the camera built into this computer so I thought I'd give it try.

Here is the front.

Pretty cool huh? Perfect for my little netbook and it's my favorite color. Next on the list is a little green mouse. This track pad along with a game I play are giving me carpal tunnel. Well, not really, but it feels like it sometimes.

So first of all, I had no idea my messy study was going to get copied over & over again. It doesn't look like that today. Everything is gone & stuffed in a drawer and I'll just have to figure out and hope I remember where I put the important stuff when we get back b/c this is me at my make-shift desk in our room at the Hotel Chester in Starkville, MS.

Yes!! The house in Cincinnati is clean (good enough) painted (mostly) and we are not cleaning and painting. And it is advertised as...

Quote
Enjoy urban farming in Northside! Harvest rewards of numerous veg/perennial gardens on secluded lot set bk from rd. Spacious bungalow w/updated kit, lg study, 2 solariums, orig Craftsman features and cosmetic improvements throughout!

Cosmetic improvements. That would be the painting.
