Okay, well, I gave a quick glance at Bill's link, I won't comment,...
the fact is, aphids, if that's what you have, could never cause irreperable damage to honeysckle. The more they seem to thrive, the more lady bug larva will thrive, and the aphid problem will quickly be taken care of....not to mention that honeysuckle are extremely resilient, and ladybug larvae, if not poisoned by treating for aphids chemically, will absolutely thrive in the presence of aphids. I have NEVER seen aphids attack honeysuckle, and if it happens, it will be a shortlived problem, drawing in more beneficial insects if left alone than if you try to intervene. Patience, honeysuckle is indestructible, and the population of ladybugs and their larva will persist for years to come.

I read that this will work for aphids. I've never tired it but if they're bothering you. But I agree that honeysuckle is hardy wether you want it or not.

1 litre water
1 tsp dish soap
2 tsp tabasco sauce
1 tsp canola oil

mix in a spray bottle and spray on the undersides of the leaves of the plants which are being attacked by aphids. Works like a charm!

That is a popular recipe, I haven't tried it myself, but it's said to work on most pests.

Ladybugs eat aphids but usually a good hosing will do the trick

Thanks everyone for their advice. I have been blasting them with the hose now for 5 days and it has helped alot. The honeysuckle has survived and looks great. Im missing a few leaves due to me picking them~I will post a pix. later on today. Its still dark here now.

I also have aphids in my greenhouse on my peppers and have been blasting them with water and squishing those I can see with my fingers, but it's time consuming to search each leaf everyday so I'm considering buying some ladybugs. I lost all my peppers to the aphids last year, they just didn't produce nor grew well at all. The aphids were literally covering each bud and leaf. So I'll try this too.
