It's doing it again. It has bloomed 3 times this year. This is the first aloe that has ever bloomed for me. I've now had it for 4 years and it has bloomed the last two years. I was wondering how do I talk it into making babies?

Most aloe are not self fertile, it takes 2 to set seed, and the second won't work if it's an offset of the first. But you can always try. I use a 19 cent hobby paintbrush to transfer pollin and it works very well. Congrats on the flowers! What color are they? It must be a very striking plant, especially when in bloom.

May God bless the WHOLE world!

actually the blooms are not very attractive. They are a pale peach and are a very small long bell shape.

Sounds like my aloe must be lonely. I'll have to see what I can do about that.

Thanks for the info.
