I have a severely handicapped daughter and I would love to help stimulate her senses by gardening. She is 11, in a wheelchair, has visual, motor, neurologic and speech delays. She has a feeding tube and has a hard time chewing food. I would like to have a raised bed that her chair could fit under so she can reach the plants. My son and I have started an herb and a vegetable garden. We also have assorted plants that flower and bloom in the day and nighttime. I have looked around on the internet for ideas and have been unable to find anything for her. After going through 14 surgeries with her and being a single Mom, my mind is exhausted. Is there anyone that can supply some fresh ideas for a tired Mom? I really want to see her grow and watch her smile. The doctors told me she would die at about 5 mos. old and she just keeps surprising them all. I am in it for the long haul and would love any help or suggestions anyone has to offer.

Thank you!!!
