Hi

I just moved into a house with a garden and I don't know what these plants are.
Can you help me identify them please?

Welcome Andrew. I'm drawing a blank on all of your plants right now. But we love a mystery here and I believe you will get plenty of help in a day or two.

does that 3rd one make little purple blooms that you can tell?
I'm thinking it looks a bit like mexican heater.

welcome, andrew. more knowledgeable people should be around shortly with the answers.

btw....we like to load no more than 3 pics per post. some are still on dial up. also we like to keep the size 640 X ????.....(just a bit smaller)

but not a prob. just a note for future post.

Thanks, can't wait. :)
Changed the size of the photo's, :)
I have only been in this house for 3 weeks, so how they look is all I have seen.

the 2nd to last looks a little like Pieris which is also called Fire on the Mountain because the leaves will get a reddish tint at certain times of year. The one right above it reminds me of my gardenias without the flowers.

The second one might be Meserve Hybrid Holly. Just a wild guess.

1. golden barberry 'Berberis thungbergii'

3. Inkberry 'Ilex glabra'

4. andromeda 'Pieris japonica'

I love the sweet scents wafting in the breeze. I stop to admire the vibrant colors of all living things. And people think me odd. Then ODD I am!!!

Hi

I think the 2nd one was a thistle, it now has a yellow flower.
