i had a pair of really good anvil pruners {long handled loppers} that the handle and part of the anvil got melted in the fire. with much sadness, they went into the garbage pile.

so, now, does anyone have any suggestions to a brand? i want another pair of anvil type. for what i use them for, that is better than bypass. i'd get another pair just like those, but i don't know the brand, i, uhem, "aquired" them from my sister-in-law in florida several (well over 10) years ago.

We have telescopic loppers, I think we bought at Lowes. They're great for getting into shrubs without bending over, but I do have to say the telescopic part broke on my pair about a year in. I do have 3 children and a husband using them too, so that could be part of the problem lol

I use concrete trowles for digging and planting. they don't bend up like those hand held garden spades.

I have a hand held spade that I bought on line with a life time guarentee. I love it. It doesn't bend, rust or break.

I broke my first pair of branch pruners. The guy at the hardware store told me it was because I wasn't keeping the cuts straight on. I was wiggling the tool to get it through the branches. So now I know not to do that with the new one I bought.

I have got gardening hydroponics equipment from Advanced Nutrients for my hydroponic gardening. I found it best and even the price is best. I would suggest advanced nutrients for the hydroponic growers as it is the best hydroponics equipment and for the best price.
