Thank you both for sharing your adventures with us all!
I 2nd the motion....... AWESOME .. I loved the scene of Dallas and airport and the stuff we would of never seen before ...... Great planning genius Diane........ :ding:
I love the way Diane did this...a planted half pot attached to the side of this tree....I love this!!
And this big tree, which has bird feeders all over it, seems to be lifting up it's arms saying, "Flock unto me, all ye birds that hunger!" (I know I'm I'm nuts!)
I will refrain from all the flower pictures because we get to see lots of her beautiful flowers in various topics, pictures which her camera takes much better than mine. But, I will show this one cause it opened for me the morning I of the day I left!!
Diane's Canna:
Emmy loves balloon! But the breeze floats them into everywhere she can't go!!
Shirley - those pictures are wonderful and tell a great story of your visit to Texas. I'm so glad you were able to take this trip, and even happier that you and Diane shared it all with us here!
I did too, Giggles!!! It was a real pleasure speaking with you, and you sounded like you were enjoying your visit very much. It made me want to be there with you both, but that will have to wait until the economy turns around a bit!
Oh Shirley I love your "in the air" photos---that is the perfect way to end this thread--thanks so much!!!!!
Me too I'm glad you took pictures as you left DFW Another flower that had just opened was a rose in the front yard, they were a month ago in full bloom,, I had told Shirley they won't be in bloom when she gets here,, But,,,,, as We were getting her suitcase in the car I noticed a lone rose,, a deep red velvety rose,, just for Shirley I so very much Enjoyed Shirley here ,, as Dodge said,,, We all needed it,,, and we all enjoyed it! Thanks for taking a peek into our time together,

We were given two hands to hold, two eyes to see, two ears to listen & two legs to walk. But why were we given only one heart? The other heart was given to another for us to find.
Ohhhhhhhh Shirley I forgot to ask you! Was the Pulled Pork still frozen in your suitcase when you got home??? I froze what was left in the crock pot,, and the strawberries you cut up and sugared too . Next time I want some strawberries I will eat the ones Shirley cut up! I forgot to take a picture of the painting you framed for me,, She painted this while she was at Cindy's a couple of months ago My favorite Gremlin

Shirley - I know those exact suicases! My daughter's roommate was from Guam, and she never returned to school after winter break, and had left many things behind that she told Amy to keep. Among them were 2 of the smaller suitcase that Diane gave you, and the small carry-on bag too. And in red also - Amy's current favorite color!

Enjoy using yours on your next journey!
I wish when I got mine I would have gotten a different color,, Do you know how many Black suitcases are on the carousel at the airports 95% I have to tie a color ribbon on my handle so I'll know what one is mine
