The Willy Village is so happy their village is finally seeing spring, .
Some stone crop sedum is coming back ,, they've planted miniature yellow daisy's Just the right size for the Village
The Dianthus are blooming,, the roses have bloomed , the lavender has bloomed, doesn't matter which way the wind blows they'll either smell the roses or the lavender coming or going! :wink:
They wanted to make sure I let you all know,, they are enjoying the fresh start of spring along with us humans.
Miss Clove has requested I get some more miniature daisy's for them, she loves them so I'll go look for some just for her!
well here ya go,, here's picture of what they have growing so far!

Oh how nice they have everything looking. The flowers are so pretty!!

Why is that one Gnome standing behind a stick, among the Dianthus flowers?? He looks like he is trying to hide!

Dear Residents of The Willie Village:

I just wanted to tell you that everything looks beautiful. I love dianthis and we too have some of these minature yellow flowers here--well we did last year--we shall see if they return this year.

Please continue to post photos of the Village--I so enjoy looking at their photos..

Hey Did you see your gazing ball in the first Picture??

I noticed the gazing ball right away - it looks perfect there!

Everything in the village looks so fresh and alive - I bet the Willies are all cheering for the renewal of growth and the light feeling of the season. I can't wait to hear what everyone has been doing there lately.

Oh, and I love those daisies!

No I did not, I missed it!!! But I just went and looked at it---it looks perfect there!!!

and I am sick that they have not come back this year.--

BTW: I see a small house there in the first picture---Miss Carol makes those if the Townspeople would be in need-----I even could maybe get a barn or a covered bridge

That House is part of a concrete water fountain that didn't work so I painted it,,,, I'm sure the village could use another house they are becoming crowded in their living quarters but the problem is where to put another house,,
The lavender got huge and is taking a lot of space,, I may have to cut it back or move it

well if & when a spot of land becomes open let me know---OK??? and I will begin "construction"

I told Miss CLove,, mannnnnnnnnnnn is she ready to make room
She says she just HAS to meet Miss Carol

that is so sweet of her---hopefully I will be able to meet her one day. She sounds like a sweety pie---and so dedicated to care for everyone like she does....

some of the village people were very nice looking. I don't think they would have wanted to date me Diane but they were cute.

Stepable Plant called Doone Valley Thymus doerfleri
Seeing how the Willy Village has to climb up and down the Rock tower they wanted something soft for their leathers to step on here and there,
This smells like fresh lemons when stepped on,, it really does!




Dark lilac /pink type flowers spikes cover it in the heat of the summer,, Hopefully It will look like this by mid to late summer



and the foliage will turn a red tint in the winter.
This is the first year for this at the village ,, and I've had to keep Onehand and his brothers off of it,, they kept running thru it just to smell the lemon scent . That's fine But it needs to get established first, Miss Clove scolded them several time before me.. now we know 135 year old willys can still act like 6 year old (Human years) sometimes

Diane that is so nice to plant something soft for their feet to climb on!

I think they are so funny, and yes, like little children. I'm glad there are enough "adults" around to keep them in line.

Thanks Eva Glad you came to see the Willy Village,, It's hard to find just the right scale of plants and flower for the Rock tower Willy Village, Oh They suggest what plants to get , but for me to find it is another story

Shirley the Elders of the Village do have their hands full especially in the spring! They get cabin fever just like we do,, Can you imagine One hand and his brothers and Mystic, and the twin girls after being inside all winter The first month of spring is hectic out there
