Well it's nice and hot out today so I decided to transplants some plants.

One of the two front containers got the bronze mum. And that's about all for right now. I'll add more later. I just haven't decided what yet lol.

The other container in the front got a bunch of things. At the front sunny side are some crocuses that were intermixed with my wormwood. I took a good sized chunk of that out of the back garden and transplanted it at the back of the container. Next to it I put the smallest sage and next to that one of the parcel's. It was trying to climb out of its pot so it was time to transplant that one. I also put a clump of blackberry lillies in that pot. There is still one spot open in that pot and i'm thinking about the oregano because it can easily hang over the side.

And that's all for now.

yes the 3 ft concrete pipes. I know I said I wouldn't do them again this year. I guess I'm just a glutton for punishment.

Whew, I put a sage, ballon flower and an oregano plant in the mums container and then put peacock Orchids and Crocosmia 'lucifer' seeds/croms to fill in so to speak. We will see how it goes. Which reminds me are the ballon flowers second year flowering plants? They came up last year but no blooms and they are back this year. They seem nice and full but I'm not seeing anything that looks like a bud yet. I guess I need to go see if Bill has a nice picture of them so I can see if the foliage matches what I have. Sometimes I've gotten seeds that weren't exactly what was advertised.

Well anyway the front containers are planted. The wormwood and the mums are hating the transplant. They are laying on the ground. Hopefully by tomorrow they will have perked up.

I tried where are they? They aren't in the plant profiles where they belong.

The plants in the container with the wormwood may not survive. The Atemisia Family is usually best planted by itself, especially wormwood as it gives off a growth inhibiting toxin. Sage is sensitive to the toxin, most culinary herbs are. Is the container placed where a person could pick any of the herbs? Wormwood should not be ingested nor any plants that have come in contact with its toxins. Either the wormwood or all the other plants should be removed from the container. Wormwood is striking in a container by itself.

Thanks for the info. I'll get rid of it. I have plenty in the back.

well today I added the moss roses that came up in the pots where I had planted the asters. None of the asters came up. Should I contact parks and tell them their seeds are a bust?
