I had my first few rose bushes last year. I mulched them very well over the cold winter, now I'm out in the yard cleaning things up (FINALLY) and getting ready for warmer weather. My rose bushes, should I be cutting back the canes or just leave them? I have noticed that they are 'dead' looking except for quite a bit on the bottom of each cane is green. Should I cut back all the dead branches?

Did you check the pruning basics post tagged at top?
