My husband is such a dilemma and always has been. He is set in his ways. When we first met he wore some type of Levi's jeans, slim, straight leg, size 34x34. I could walk into Belk, buy them, and they would fit. He never had to try anything on. Several years ago Levi stopped making his jeans. It was a nightmare for a long time. He tried on every pair of jeans in the world, had them altered, complained complained complained. I stopped buying him clothes and he became rattier (if that's a word) and rattier in his attire. Then thankfully 2 years ago his daughter gave him a pair of Urban slim and straight jeans 34x34. They looked great and he loves them. He went to Kohl's and bought 7 pair. I bought him 2 pair and his daughter bought him another pair. Christmas is the last time I've seen these jeans. Now I can't find them even online. I can't stand the thought of going through this again. He wears jeans to work everyday and goes through them quickly.


Does anyone have these in stores in your area?

Cindy, I have looked on Ebay but they never have his size in the slim straight leg. When we lipo the fat out our a** I'm going to inject some into his thighs.

Once, my adult neice (who is an RN) seriously speculated on the misfortune that my docs couldn't move some of the blub from my tummy to my butt -- just pull it around! Or even better, pull it UP so I'd have a chest "out to there" to compare with my sister!

What you nurses sometimes think of cracks me up!

Maxi just left. He won't be back next weekend, so it is going to be a very long stretch before I see him again. His youngest brother turns 2 next week & they are doing the party on Saturday which is why he won't be back.

My girl has to take tomorrow off, so she is coming later this evening to get as much ready for me for tomorrow as is possible. Then I will just have to get up and get myself together for dialysis & not have an overwhelming amount to do all alone.

Maxi was really into watching Troy this weekend. He watched it a few million times, it seems. I was surprised to see that Orlando Bloom played Paris but he is good in everything I've seen him in so far.

That will be a long stretch between Maxi fixes, Merme. I am glad your girl could let you know ahead of time that she can't make it tomorrow. That is much better than a last minute call. Or no call at all.
I have been cooking today. Got a lot put up for the week ahead. Going to bathe my boy here in a minute. I didn't nap today and don't want to. I am trying to get my external clocks and internal clocks in sync.

Tornado warnings. I get confused. Does that mean tornadoes are happening or is it tornado watch?
I need to go check the weather channel.

I hated the years I lived in tornado country. We get them here, also, but rarely. I freak out too easily to live where they occur all the time!

Well, what just happened while I was typing was certainly wierd!

I was working on a post and reached up to backspace. I hit a key that not only got me instantly off-line but put the pc in shut down mode. So I had to wait & turn it on again! How crazy is that? I didn't even know such a key existed on my keyboard & I'm bothered because I don't know which one did it!

This happens to me a lot on my laptop. It is frustrating!!

Our dinner was good last night. I thought the sauce for the NC pulled pork was going to be like a BBQ sauce but it was not. It was good though. First the sauce tasted more like vinegar than anything else. I ended up more than doubling the amount of brown sugar and it still had a bit of a vinegar taste. It was different but good. I made some beans that were spicy and good.

Cindy, I don't think you could kick anything asss!!!

Nothing seemed to happen much around me so I don't know what went on anywhere else in Cincinnati! Glad everything is OK with you and Rachel.

Just when we are all so ready for spring, we are getting a week of cold temperatures and snow! 10 degrees at night and not much warmer during the day and plenty more snow for sledding ...

I really wanna see some grass!

Even bare earth would be okay.

I really wanna put skin to the sun!

Even just doing away w/ mittens & scarves would be great.

I really wanna sleep outdoors without fear of hypothermia!

I am still trying to get into the new time thing. I don't usually have a big problem with it. I love having it lighter later.
Today I have my usual morning thing, then a meeting, then I'm going to work.

Morning all.....I am in training for my new job this week. It is intense and approx 10 hour days. So I am eating my oatmeal, drinking a cup of coffee and headed out to the ranks of the employed. Too bad it's only temporary but hey, at least I get some work. So many others in worse shape. Of course since I have to travel we are getting hit with winter once again. Saw a car in the ditch yesterday and then a 4 car pile up behind a stalled out semi on the upside of the grade into town yesterday. Luckily I was on the downhill side. Then its supposed to get back to the mid 40's on Saturday and I won't get to snow shoe!!! WAAAAAAHHHH

Anyway, I haven't disappeared, I am just reading on here when most everyone is asleep. I'm one of those lurkers!!!!

It is going to be beautiful here today. The show is inside. I think Mommy has decided in addition to the tiara to also wear here Eeyore pj's.

I've been testing out my phone to see how much video and how many pics I can store on there. I know how to upload the pics but I'm having trouble with the video. My computer says it is an incompatible program. I think I may have to subscribe to the video mail service through Sprint to upload the video to the computer.

It has been increasingly threatening overhead all day; we are in for some weather but I can't tell what! Probably more snow....

Maxi's parakeets are all sleepyheaded as they always act in bad weather. They do not want to wake up and sing on days like today.

I made tuna salad for my dinner. I took a bite and realized I couldn't eat it. So I stuck it in the refridgerator & got out the peanut butter instead. So I'm having peanut butter toast instead of tuna toast. It is yummy! And since my blood sugar is low this afternoon, it is good for me.

Elton John is certainly one of the all time greats. He can sing alone or with anybody and make that anybody sound good. I loved his duet with George Michael just to name one.

80 here today and beautiful. I love getting off work at 2:30.

I hope Fernie posts about her horrible drive in and that 10 hours worth of training. My brain would be mush or should I say more mush.

Merme, your 2 choices are 2 of my favorites. I love tuna with mayo, dill pickles and boiled eggs. And I eat peanut butter out of the jar with a spoon.

I have been sleeping off and on all day. Now I am feeling more human!
