I needed to start a new one so I could thank Carol for the awesome snowflake rug. I just couldn't bring myself to sit and wait for flakes but really wanted one of those. Thank you so much. You are a sweety!

I remember you saying that they were a desired item--so I sent it to you---it was the very least I could do--I am so glad that you like it. shots

Good Morning..

Today I decided to go ahead & buy another outside yard, so I could garden more---so I was so very careful to chose the right place---and then stupid me, I bought a regular room, which if I could move it would be OK----

I have e-mailed webkinz--we shall see if they answer me,,,

I feel so dumb---thanks for listening

Hmmmm. less than a year ago I was going to buy a new large room and ended up with a yard I didn't particularly want in that spot. Or vice versa. I just decided to live with whatever it was..

I was given two webkinz for Christmas. I have the frog and a polar bear. My frog belongs to the webkinz site. His name is Geffrick Von Emomon. My user name is Maxcasco.

Oh, good Maxi. I will go add you to my accounts now. I have a mess of Tedkinz and a Jonkinz account. You need to accept friendship requests and we can send you goodies.

Maxi had his bag packed and was on his way out the door to his dad's when we noticed that you Tina, and Carol Jean had posted to him. I quickly read to him what you'd said. He told me he would visit the site soon and do as you suggested. I have no idea what y'all are talking about but he seemed to know well enough. He sometimes can use his dad's pc but not too often, and of course he uses mine on weekends. I don't know if he can use his school laptop for webkinz or not.

You need to get his password and get on his account during the week when he is gone, Merme. You like to play games and there are a lot of simple games to play. And then you end up making a lot of kinzcash for Maxi to spend. I am on other sites chock full of mothers and grandmothers who started out helping their kids and became quite hooked themselves. It is an easy safe thing for kids to do online.

Doubtful I will do that, my friends. Maxi had some sort of cyber pet a few years ago that I ended up caring for! As if I didn't already have enough to do!! lol Later he wanted to get another one and I said "NO WAY!"

I'm not the one who got him the webkinz either.

I have a question---

From the Webkinz winterfest I have several items and food. is there a reason to keep the ones I do not want?? Or can I begin to use them (as in the case of the food) I have multiples---with the exception of the rugs--I do not necessarily need them, or do I???

Sorry to be such a nuisance...There is jsut so much I need to learn I guess--- why

I used to sell off all extras. But then I started trading. Then I got a little bored with trading and just saved to gift. There is really no point in saving things unless you plan on getting into the trading part. Which you can do right in the clubhouse now.
When Jiffy and Scott started playing Webkinz, I had so much extra stuff to share. I was able to help them get a head start on their different rare rooms with bits and pieces. I was able to trade some of my desirable goodies away for others desirable goodies and get Brennan a lot of the vehicles for his collection.
And likewise sending you some 'spare parts' is fun too, Carol.
This is why I keep asking people what they may like. So I can get rid of stored junk.
So the answer is do whatever you would like to do with your extra stuff.

Thanks, Tina--I appreciate all your help. I didnt know about the trading but I think I prefer to give away what I can't use. Esp. since I apprecuiated all of the help I got here--. Kinda like returning the favor---

waht I was really asking was----is webkinz going to turn around and say well if you have this this or this from Winterfest--you can now do such and such with it??

No, I don't think so. They are just items or food. When people started collecting and trading originally, I think Ganz was kind of taken by surprise at the start. But they have realized that it is one of the biggest attractions of it all and bought into it themselves.
Just relax and do what you want with your stuff.

I'll try to get a pic posted. I'm having probs w/Webkinz and I always have probs w/Photobucket.

Brennan's face was priceless when he saw it. I told him to go into his rooms in WW that I had finished decorating the Asian room for him. When it opened up, it was close up right on the trophy. His mouth dropped open and his eyes bugged out. He was so excited. I think next to the vehicles the trophies are his favorites.

I like your different colored walls Patunia. The theme walls and floor together are a bit much. Brennan is a real stickler for using the theme only in a room. I was surprised he didn't object to the plants I put in. He will move the trophy, though. He has the "tropy rocket room" where he puts all of them.

Yep, give us your user name and we can add you as a friend and send gifts. My (Brennan's) user name is tater1999. You have to click on the remote at the bottom right of the screen and click to add a friend. You will type in there name and send the friend's request. Or, if someone sends you a request you will have a message when you log on that so and so wants to be friends then it will ask you if you accept. I hope this makes some sense. Once you are on there and play around for awhile you will figure everything out. There is a lot of fun stuff to do and ways to make kinzcash to buy things in the w shop.

Welcome to the world of Webkinz, memosa.

I have only been a member since October of 08 myself. Everyone here has been most helpful. I too will help you all I can. and yes if you would just let us know your user name we could send you stuff--to help you get started.

what else I advise is go back and read say Webkinz nuts 70, 71, & 72. It might well answer many of your questions---at very least I know it will help!!!

You play games to get more money. Or sell the things I will send you to the w-shop under 'sell'. I will also send you food. You can feed your pet over on it's portrait on the left, You do not have to be in the room to feed. I will also list a bunch of stuff that will get you money quickly.
But read through your Guide and it will give you clues too. We all felt pretty blind going in the first few times. Fumbling around.

So I sent you a bunch of stuff. Sell everything except the food in the w-shop under 'sell'. You will be about $5000 richer and will be able to relax and figure the site out better.

ALRIGHT, I received some great house warming gifts! Thanks all but I am not to sure about the replies that I sent back! I got a little confused at first on how to return thank you and what I could actually put in them. Is there a way that we can visit one anothers homes and get to see and play together?

There is a way to visit other homes but every time I try I get frozen in time. I have to log out and back in. What I will do when you are ready is pm you my password so you can go in as me and look around.
Don't worry about sending ty's in ww (webkinz world). Save your kincash for other things and just say your thanks here.
You can also ask all of yyour questions here about what to do and things. They have the guide but it isn't very clear on some points.

Memosa--I sent you a friend request--as soon as I get a reply I can send you a house warming gift or 2--and I too say if you do not wish to keep what I send, sell them.

If anyone is interested in a Bamboo Break trophy let me know. I've got it figured out how to get the points/bonus chips to win 1 now. They will only award 1 per account so I would have to log into your account to get one. If anyone wants 1 and you don't mind me hopping into your account I'll be glad to win 1 for you. Just PM me your info. I'm still addicted to the game. It is the best stress relief for me.

I must have overlooked your username Memosa. Please let me know what it is and I can send some things also.

Cool. Parties can be done. Some pet usually gets stuck in a fridge or something but that is half the fun of parties.

JunieGirl,
I so profoundly apologize! I am not the quickest and brightest on this stuff and when I was trying to do that I accidently erased someones request it must have been yours. I didn't know who to contact.
Once again I do apologize. Can you re ask to be my friend? Please try but don't worry about the gift. Right now I am so overwelmed and I don't know yet what to do with all the great stuff. I only have 2 rooms, the main room/effeciency room and a bath room and still can't get a window in my house. It won't go up.
Do try again if it is possible and Thanks!

No need to contact. She can just send you another invite. You turned down one of my tedkinz ones too but I just re-sent it and you accepted the second time. I have hit the wrong button and turned someone down before.

The blue ribbons float across the screen on the first of every month. The chocolate ribbons that end up in your dock are for your pet to eat. It's just a fun little thing WW does to start up the new pet of the month. You don't have to have the POTM for the ribbons to show up. It's a way for WW to advertise the new POTM and have some fun at the same time for everyone.

I could have sworn that I answered about the ribbons floating earlier. I wonder if I typed it and forgot to submit? I am getting scatter-brained lately.

Memosa, I've got you on my list now. Is there anything in particular that you would like to have? Or is there a particular room theme you are interested in? Let me know and I'll have some gifts on the way to you.

Thanks folks, I to had questions about those blue ribbons. I also have two of them. Right now there is no real room theme. I just pick things that I can afford and that I like. It would be cool to me if they allowed you to design your own room themes.
One reason I am not on here much is I am spending way to much time over at WW trying to win points playing games that I am absolutely no good at especially with an injured Thumb!
Anyway, thanks for all your help. I am just really trying to learn all of this so that eventually I can play with all of my new friends over there.

Memosa, I sent you a 1000kc coin and some seeds to start a garden. You can take the coin to the w shop and click at the bottom to sell it. Then it will give you the 1000kc added to your money. You can buy an outside room and plant the seeds. Then you can harvest the fruit and veggies to sell for some extra kinz cash or feed to your pet. If you start a garden we can all send some more seeds for you to plant and some outdoor items to spruce things up.

the garden is wonderful---I have 2 myself. it says the veggies/fruit m,atures once every 7 days but mine sometimes mature sooner.--you have to inspect for weeds then rake them out.---You do not have to water, but I often do. i think I get more weeds if I do not water, but that may be my imagination. why

after you "harvest" your garden wares, you can go to the W shop and sell them.

if you read back in the Webkinz Nuts logs as I suggesterd earlier, you will read where Jonni (Tina) explained this all to me. clap

I get about 800 kinz cash a week from the one garden and I am almost to where I have the second garden full, and it too can begin to make me money---. it is a fun way to get cash, food for your pet/s, and as a bonus you can forget it is winter for a few minutes---!!!!

PS I think Tina said any room/garden can only be 80% full. so in a 10 x 10 garden one can only have 80 plants. but 80 plants are good!!!!

what kind of seeds do you want, next harvest I will send you some. thumbup

I believe melons and pumpkins make the most income. I actually kept track for a month to find out because people were saying it was strawberries even after the buying price dropped. And my melons and pumpkins did best.
When you harvest a crop the plant stays and begins all over again so your gardens last forever (unless they have another glitch where they don't work for a couple of weeks like last year). Once in a while you get a hunky plant that won't let you weed it or harvest it or anything. I move it and leave the room and come back and it usually works then.
Someday, you may go into your room and everything will be gone. Don't panic. Log out and back in and stuff will usually be back in place. Or sometimes the next day.
I have things 'stuck' in my house. They either look like they are floating outside of the room or they just won't budge when moved. If it doesn't clear up on its own you have to contact Ganz with all of the info and they go in and un-stick it all. I have never bothered yet.

I have things stick----for about a week I had my red amaryllis in my medieval room--(it had been my storage room)---nothing I could do would unstick it--i finally gave up and a week later all was well, and I was able to move it.--same thing happened with one of my pumpkin plants. I could not weed it---finally 2 days later all was well---and the plant didn't die in the meantime either. thumbup

I have had things stuck for over a year. I don't think they are going to spontaneously fix themselves now. The most stuck items appear to be thins set on tables. And if you move the table from under them, they will usually never unstick. It took me a while to figure this out. I am a very slow learner.

Alright, how do I get land for gardening. I know how to add a room on to the house, do I have to use one of the plots that are shown in little ----- lines around the house that is called rooms? And how do I go about planting a garden? Do I need to buy garden tools and stuff first. Do I need a room for gardening tools?

You can buy an outside room the same as an inside room. When you click buy you will select the area in your house (the places with the ----- lines). Then you will select the outdoor area. It is green. Once you have the outdoor area you just drag the seeds from your dock to the area you would like them in the garden. You can still move it even after it's planted. To garden, have your pet walk up to the garden and a box will pop up and ask if you would like to start gardening. When you answer yes another box with your tools will pop up. You can choose 'inspect' and it will tell you what tools/actions you need to do that day.

Once you get started just let us know if you need anymore help. That's what we're here for.

Just came from WW and I think that I added my garden but I went out side and it is all snow covered and I walked my pet around but no boxes or anything popped up so I guess I can't plant right now. Anyway thanks again for the help and the great gifts. Right now I am spending so much of my time trying to read everything and learn without getting to frustrated.

yes you can plant now----if you put your cursor over a spot you will see a box.
and if you take a bag of seed to an area, a plant will magically appear.

I bought my latest garden recently. Just today I added a few plants. it will work, if for some reason it will not work a messagae should pop up and tell you why.

The snow doesn't change anything. It will be gone in another couple of weeks. But you can garden right through the snow season. Just drag your seed packet up to the yard and you will see the box. Place it where you want or place then move it to where you want like Carol (juniegirl) said.
I got very frustrated at times. I still do when things don't work right.

The pet of the month for Feb is the large googles. You won't get anything extra for adopting the frog this month. It does seem like it would be a good POTM for Feb, though.

thanks rachel. I knew it was not the POTM a sales lady tried to interest me in the Googles instead of the Love Frog. But a frog is a frog is a frog.lol

I just thought since it was a love frog and it was February & all... why

But again thanks---I think I'll keep it in reserve if there is not a good reason to "adopt" it now--

I wish Ganz would add time to the end for each pet you adopt. We have 79 pets in Brennan's acct right now. You would think that should be enough to keep our account active for quite a while. I'm sure we will adopt another pet anyway. But it would be nice if they would add time per pet instead of the year from last adoption.

you would think so---I added a webkinz kitty---and when I saw I only got a year from my that adoption, which cut my first 1 yr. time frame by 8 months,----I decided right then and there, I am only adopting very close to the end of each year. so they will be losing money on me---Perhaps some day they will learn. We can only hope.

and I do not blame you ---Obviously Brennan loves the Webkinz, I would think that Ganz would recognize that and reciprocate accordingly. Oh well their loss. why

Well, unless they come out with a different Squirrel before my time is up I will not be adopting another pet. I only collect squirrels so I wish that they would let you pay a fee at the end of your year to continue. And if I were to purchase another pet before my year is up I would just hang on to the little ticket thing and not register as joined until my year was about to expire. But if they would do it I would definitely consider just paying them the lets say price of my original pet.

Memosa, go out now & buy another squirrel (could be the same one) and then do not register it until the old one is about to expire.-

I have right now, a green frog (got it with a coupon at my local pharmacy)
The Love frog I was asking about earlier, and a small webkinz cares.--They are all waiting in the wings, esp since i found out how it works. teach

I think it's Plant queens son because I'm already friends with jessica81 and yes wahdee. I've sent 3 to her now and she hasn't gotten one.

yes, something like that. If he doesn't know who you are he may not accept. I don't accept friends requests unless I know the person. I wouldn't want my young child to either.

Ok. I was just on with Jessica and she checked his site and he got his. Memosa still hasn't received either of the 3 I've sent.

Back when I first got in I had several invites and I excepted them all except one that I accidently hit the wrong thing but was reissued an invite by that person and excepted then. But bestofour wrote me today that she has sent me a few invites and I haven't received any mail today. I can only think that maybe something went awry when they were down the other night and morning. But hey don't ask me because I don't understand half of what I am doing over at WW except that I am spending waaaaaay to much time playing in there. I am afraid maybe I have done something wrong so maybe that is why everyones messages aren't getting through. But so far I can only play 2 games half way well and I am trying to get all the points that I can so that I can buy my little squirrel some house stuff, keep her fed and clothed and PLANT that garden. Actually I think that it is to small for all the great seed gifts that I have received from you great people so I did try to feed her some of those last nights since squirrels love seeds so much but darn it wouldn't let me feed them to her LOL.

You can send your own invites, Memosa. Click on the little cell phone in the right hand bottom corner. A bigger cell pops up. Click on start And wait a little bit. (everything takes time to load). When it is loaded you will be able to click the 'add' button. A new screen pops up and you can type in the user name of choice. In this case type in 'bestofour', then add.

Yes, sometimes you get the note and sometimes you don't. You have to check your phone to see if the name shows.

I'VE BEEN ROBBED! [size:11pt]I bought a new cabinet for the kitchen and when I went to install it everything was gone but the meat grinder thingy that was sitting on one of the cabinets. Even the kitchen sink was gone! And I tried to give my squirrel 2 different books to read and they just disappeared into thin air. I guess they are where ever the table, chairs refrigerator, kitchen sink, one cabinet, and food went. How do I call WW police?
Is there a WWCSI?

Try logging out and back in. Hopefully that will bring it all back. WW can be a bit glitchy. Things get stuck, disappear and sometimes float. It usually all works itself out.

I've had a lot of things disappear when I try to move them and they've never returned. I had a package at Christmas from Webkinz and when I clicked on it, it disapppeared.

My favorite thing that someone from here (can't remember who) sent me is the bobble head rabbit. I love that thing.

Colby won a pond as a prize that says it's interactive but we can't figure out what it does.
