When I got the thrysiflora it was around 6 inches high. I have it under my patio and only water it when it is totally dry. It is growing great, they have a tall stalk growing from the middle. The stalk is about 6 feet tall now. The top 2 feet has a bunch of little buds. They look like they going to make flowers.
Should I feed the plant?
Should I water it more since it is about to flower?
Any information would be helpful

I keep kalanchoes - being zone 6a, of course, I bring them in for the winter. Most Kals want a minimum of 55 fahrenheit.

Dunno' what kind mine are though - probably that 'blossa . . . something' name.

I find kalanchoes flower whenever they wanna' flower - if they're sitting in the window, mid-winter, looking out at a blizzard, they might pop their buds right there and then.

Easy plants to get along with, IMO.

I'm not too sure what this thrysiflora species is though, Will. Oh . . . ok - just googled . . .

And from what I see on the pictures, I don't have any.

These kals look kinda' scruffy, but they're healthy enough - they're flowering now . . .

Here's a nice one - it started off small - about 4 inches - it's a good 8 to 10 inches now.

I don't think I've ever seen this one flower though . . .

Don't know what the particular species is either.
