Well...another year has gone by. What are your plans for New Years?

No Plans as of yet--IF Rod has his way, I will be sitting here by myself, watching the ball drop while he is blissfully sleeping.

IF I have my way I will at very least go out to eat supper....

I am afraid to ask----because I do not want to know.....

we won't do anything. i don't want to do anything. ellie will be at her inlaws and kate and joe have a "date" planned. i'm ok with that. we will have peas and ham, and pork and sauerkraut. that's it!

we won't do anything either, Dwight usually fixes black eyed peas and cornbread for New years Day for good fortune the coming year,,, ,, EEEEEEEYUUUUCCK! I don't eat B eyed Peas I'd rather have Lasagna

Somehow we still get good an bad luck each year.LOL

We don't have any plans either. We might go out to dinner or something but I don't really know yet. We are not ones to plan ahead unless others are inviting and we have to say yes or no. Otherwise we tend to do things on the fly. Just depends on what we feel like. I thought about inviting people over for venison roast but don't know that I feel like doing that either. It just creates more work for me. Have to clean the house even more than normal and cook. Who knows!

We took one day for christmas to do nothing, worry of nothing , and let the day go by ....It was very relaxing not to hustle .......

Everyone should do that a couple of times a month just to rest their minds,, Your smart to do that Dodge!

I was just saying in the CH how last week I was all excited about NYE and was planning on getting a sitter and going to a party just down the road. Now, I don't want to do anything. just another day, ya know.
I usually do black eyed peas and cabbage for good luck on ny day. never heard of the pork thing.
