HATE IT! All that plowing and shovelling and has really taken a toll on my back and knees!~

Gee I stitched the watch cap in such festive colors, Maxi is going to adore it! In his world, the brighter, the better! He is such a lively little fellow, he really likes brilliant colors.

I'm bummed out I didn't get to see him this weekend. His dad isn't even answering the phone. They never do when they are hiding/feeling guilty.

I'm going to make some Red rose Tea and get started on the matching mittens. I am using the festive colors for the cuffs and a deep blue fot the hands.

btw, I thought you said in an earlier post you were done with crochet gifts? but what else is there to do when the snow is up to your windows, right?

well, I got busted crochetting my son's blanket. he walked in on me just as I had added the first row of the accent color. he says 'WOW! that looks awesome!". he asked if it was a scarf, I told him yes and changed the subject. good thing I picked today to make that ham! the boys mind was preocupied with ham and so he didn't ask too many questions about the blanket (scarf).
at least now I know he will like the colors.

my eyes are getting heavy guys and it's only just a bit after 7. what a lazy day I've had. I needed a lazy day though. it has been a hecktic week.

the house is a mess, and I told the kids we are cleaning tomorrow. I told them they would clean for an hour. if they worked their tail ends off and do a good job I'd pay them five bucks each, almost minimum wage. If not, they'd do it anyway with me riding their butts and they'd do it for free.

hope it works out. I really want this place clean before Christmas.

I tell my daughter (drama queen girl, at times) " Life's not fair Christina darling" she hates it when I say that cause she has NO idea what I'm talking about.
I just tell her when she's older I'll let her watch the movie.

Well, you see, there's all this white cr@p falling out of the sky, and there's this really slick clear stuff underneath it. Right now more white stuff (I'm totally unfamiliar with this stuff, what is it?) falling from the sky with an expected power outing wind storm coming in tonight. Who sent this arctic stuff our way anyway? Take it back!
