I didn't think he would be too interested in the Christmas theme. Going to go correct that error. He will need to buy a new room though. I will start with a pool, maybe?

He has now. I hope it is a large room. The theme demands it. Or two rooms.

DarbiAubry8 could use some Christmas stuff if you're in the giving mood. I use most of her money to feed her pets and can only send 3 things a day so it's slow going getting her Christmas stuff.

Just incase you guys didn't know Webkinz has a thing today to get a rare item.

On the Webkinz Newz site (you can get to it from the start page of WW), they are asking for suggestions of children's charities for 2009 Webkinz Cares to donate to. Each person that enters their choice gets a code for a unicorn wall tapestry for the medieval theme. It isn't available anywhere else. It is one tapestry per email address not per Webkinz account. So, you can put as many suggestions as you have email addresses. It stops tonight at midnight.

I did it in my two email accounts and in one of Jiffy's. I hope she can forgive me. But I hate to see her miss out. Now if just she doesn't delete it unread because she doesn't recognize the sender. That is what I do.

I have a feeling it may go into the spam folder. It says give it 7 days before you expect it to be sent. If it doesn't show up, check there.

Darn it, I thought for sure I had that flooring. I logged into WW all excited because I thought I finally had something I could send you. No luck, though. It was the aztec walls. I haven't been very lucky with that theme. I've only got the walls and a side table. I miss it everytime. Seems like everytime I catch a rare anymore it's yet another medieval or egyptian thing. That stuff is so common now people don't even want it in the trading room.

Well do not get me estore items. The longer they have been here the more irritated I get with them.
I actually have the same problem. I cannot remember what I have already sent. Don't know who is collecting what. And need wish lists to fulfill.

You can change the wallpaper and flooring. But, the old wallpaper/floor is then gone. It doesn't go back into your dock like furniture or objects do.

You are quite welcome, Carol. You can change the floors and walls endlessly. (and lose the covered over ones)But the Christmas floors and walls will only be available for another couple weeks. You do not have to change any of them if you are happy with the results you have. Can you post your room picture? I have a complete Christmas room but it is storage with items lined up and not arranged. And then a couple more simply storage rooms with items lined up.
Like this was my first storage room, still there but the items in it have changed

I always thought it would be nice if they would make a flooring and wallpaper 'storage' unit that would go in a room. I have so many misc walls and floors in my dock they take up a lot of space. It would be nice to have a storage unit that would hold them.

I know and I also know that they have been requested by many, many members. Maybe, someday, Ganz will figure out how to do that. Meanwhile, I have my 'spares' scattered evenly through the docks of my accounts sort of. I was thinking of dropping the jonkinz13 account when it is up in January, but I might just hold on to it with a cares pet for dock storage items.

They still have the buy one get one free cares pets at Walgreen's. It's a good deal. I think they are around $7 each. The only reason we have only gotten one is because Brennan already has most of them.

I was in Walgreen with Valarie today---we even looked at the Webkinz cares----But as I have 1 at home for me, one here for Val & one here for Emily---I didn't buy any more-----(also because I was Christmas shopping and one only has so many dollars)

**I may get to Keep Emily's as her DH does not think she would enjoy doing the whole Webkinz thing**---((more for me That way-- thumbup)

Tina--How do I "get" pictures of my rooms over here from 'Webkinz land' ????

Pictures on my computer: Get the room you want to show. I need to push alt and print screen button at the same time.
Then I open Paint in accessories. I paste the picture there (under 'edit') and then I can 'cut' it. I like using the square cut tool on the side. You drag it over the top of the pic you want and then down to outline the area you want to show. I then right click on that square and copy it. Open a new page (under 'file') in Paint and paste it there. Then I save it to my pictures on my computer (right click on the pic and then 'save as') and from there send it to Photobucket. And then from PB I can post it here.
And all of this is why I don't post many pictures of my rooms. It seems like such a lot of work. And then my rooms change as I add or alter things. It is fun to see my old rooms and as they are now. Big differences.

I have given my password to most here. I would rather they go in and just check out my houses themselves. But don't post it to people PM and let them know when you won't be in. Because it tosses people out.
Today one of my great nieces saw all of Teddy's webkinz plush and got very excited. They just got their first ones. But they aren't connected at their new home yet so can't register and play. How sad is that?
I told my niece to email me their user names and I would send them a lot of stuff to start them off.

Well, there was divorce of parents then settling the kids, dogs, cats, 9 horses and a variety of chickens into a new home. Internet could wait. But it is happening soon. She needs it for work (probation officer).

Well, they have a 50/50 set up. The kids spend about 50% of their time with Dad, I think. I can barely keep my own family straight much less John's.

Mine is over towards the calculator/numbers part of my keyboard. It is a dual button that I have no idea what the other part does. On my old computer it says PRNT SCRN. This one spells it outright above SysRq (the one I have no idea of). I guess keyboards are all different. But something similar is on most.

I couldn't print my screen for the longest time until someone else gave me a blow-by-blow of how to do it, Carol. And there are buttons on my keyboard that I still have no idea what they do. I am afraid to mess with them in case I blow up my computer.

Isn't that the truth????

I will wait until after Christmas--then I will begin to try to "learn" how that all works.

It was a contest in the kinzville news on Friday only. And everyone who put in a charity where they thought the cares money would be helpful gets a medieval tapestry that can only be gotten there. (one per email address) Rachel reminded us here on Friday to do it. Some are receiving codes for the tapestries in their emails. They enter the code into the code shop and get the tapestry. There may be more opportunities in the future and I will PM you if I find them, Carol as well as announce it here.

Oh, I hope so, Sheri. If not then you may need to call tech support. I haven't opened but one of mine. And that was on my Euro account last night.

Congrats to both of you, (and to Brennan). I sure wish I knew that you wanted an elephant fountain, though, Jiffy. Those are cool because they can go outdoors or indoors.

Today I adopted a webkinz cares kitty---"Maisy". I thought that I would have double the abilities---but no, after the initial gifts, influx of cash, and of course her bed room--(it is purple clap) it is the same as if I had 1 pet.---is this how it works???---If it is that is fine, I am just curious.

also, I have another question: when are the rare items for sale in the curio shop???

yes, it's always like you have 1 pet. I thought the same as you when I first started.

I'm not sure about the rare items.

I posted in the username section to ask your daughter to add bestofour to her list.

Valarie is still sick with the flu, or something---she went to the Drs. today & got some meds.---I guess it may not be simply the flu.

I called her and told her about adding you because with being sick I was not sure she would be coming on the forum. why

Thanks for the info sheri.

I can start posting the time of the rare every day if you would like
Yes multiple pets but you can only really play with one at a time. You can take one swimming and then click on another and the original will keep swimming. But the second can't go into the pool too.

offering to do that is very nice of you , Tina-----but is there a way I can figure it out?? I hate to make you go thru that every day.....

I noticed that thing about playing with one pet at a time---I brought my kitty into the all purpose room where "Froggie" was, and he just 'sat' there---doing nothing--ah well _ I will 'get' it sooner or later...... idea

I sent you a pm, Carol about where to find info
Tonight is the last day to get christmas themed items if you are missing any. And I am expecting the site to be down tomorrow for updating
I am hoping they will have their new Asian theme furniture in after the update.

thanks--I have been looking at the christmas themed items----I bought a tree for valarie---but otherwise i think I am good there.

I had enough furniture bought to pretty well furnish my kitties room, so now I only have 1 empty room---I will wait to see what webkinz site has that is new, before I begin to fill it up. thumbup

Again, Thanks... kissie

Tomorrow starts winterfest. If you hang around in your room or anywhere where your dock is visible, snowflakes will float across the screen from left to right. Click on them before they disappear and you can get some fun stuff. It goes until the 18th.
So far in the Asian accounts they seem to go at around 11 minute intervals.

No I haven't played yet. Got a trophy yet? I am barely checking into my accounts. I did do all of the wheel of wishes yesterday but didn't stick around for anything else. I am still pretty disgusted with having to log in twice before getting in and I just keep saying forget it.

No trophy yet. I've only gotten to level 11.

I have the problem with logging in, too. But just in Brennan's acct. I never have trouble in Mommy's acct. I also have a problem in Brennan's acct with it telling me there is a problem with a script running in the program. When it does that I know that I won't be able to do anything in there for a few hours. I guess it's because of all the tons of stuff we have in there.

I haven't had much of a problem with the script thing lately. But maybe because I haven't been in much. I still love my webbies but I just have so much else to do right now that it isn't the driving force it was. And when it became so much more frustrating than relaxing I put it aside. Sort of. I still check most days on the sites to see what is happening.

Winterfest is on! So far I just keep getting egg nog. Looks like 11 minutes here, too. I'm going to have to get to work on the house soon. I'm hoping for one more flake. The new jacket would be nice.

Tori has lost her codes and for some reason changed her password so now we can't even get into her account.

Any Ally's mom and dad have adopted a Chinese baby (I think I mentioned that earlier) so she is never allowed on the computer at home. She is responsible for helping with her 3 year old brother and her 13 year old brother who is special needs.

I didn't know you needed that wallpaper. I think I have one. Do you have the flooring? I'm almost positive we have an extra one of those. Let me know if you do and remind me of your username. I may have to add you again. Brennan will accept any 'friend' invite when he is playing games or in the trading room. I go in about once a week and delete tons. I may have accidentally deleted some of you guys.

Very cool on the wallpaper. I knew I sent you something, either floor or wallpaper but I'll be darned if I can remember. I also sent walls and floors for your Ancient theme, I think. But if I doubled you can always send one back.
Congrats on the rug. That is the most sought after item going. And yes it is the snowflake rug.

Tina; you senmt me Ancient civilization floor and the wall paper---and then the medieval floor. today I bought the M. walls. yo are so kind---
if I get anotehr rug it is yours.

rachel if you really have extras, that would be great--

while I have floors and walls in both my rooms, it is my intention to make co-ordinating bedrooms as well, so any help on the walls 7 floors would be more than welcomed---

JunieGirl79 that is me....

I do have a floor but no wallpaper. I will send it to you if I can ever get into and do anything in WW. I keep getting the 'please wait' at the bottom while I watch snowflakes blow by and can't click on them. I had this problem during the fall fest, too.
