They still have the buy one get one free cares pets at Walgreen's. It's a good deal. I think they are around $7 each. The only reason we have only gotten one is because Brennan already has most of them.

I had planned on getting a couple today but my plans nose-dived. I will plan for tomorrow and see.

I was in Walgreen with Valarie today---we even looked at the Webkinz cares----But as I have 1 at home for me, one here for Val & one here for Emily---I didn't buy any more-----(also because I was Christmas shopping and one only has so many dollars)

**I may get to Keep Emily's as her DH does not think she would enjoy doing the whole Webkinz thing**---((more for me That way-- thumbup)

Tina--How do I "get" pictures of my rooms over here from 'Webkinz land' ????

Pictures on my computer: Get the room you want to show. I need to push alt and print screen button at the same time.
Then I open Paint in accessories. I paste the picture there (under 'edit') and then I can 'cut' it. I like using the square cut tool on the side. You drag it over the top of the pic you want and then down to outline the area you want to show. I then right click on that square and copy it. Open a new page (under 'file') in Paint and paste it there. Then I save it to my pictures on my computer (right click on the pic and then 'save as') and from there send it to Photobucket. And then from PB I can post it here.
And all of this is why I don't post many pictures of my rooms. It seems like such a lot of work. And then my rooms change as I add or alter things. It is fun to see my old rooms and as they are now. Big differences.

I have given my password to most here. I would rather they go in and just check out my houses themselves. But don't post it to people PM and let them know when you won't be in. Because it tosses people out.
Today one of my great nieces saw all of Teddy's webkinz plush and got very excited. They just got their first ones. But they aren't connected at their new home yet so can't register and play. How sad is that?
I told my niece to email me their user names and I would send them a lot of stuff to start them off.

Well, there was divorce of parents then settling the kids, dogs, cats, 9 horses and a variety of chickens into a new home. Internet could wait. But it is happening soon. She needs it for work (probation officer).

Well, they have a 50/50 set up. The kids spend about 50% of their time with Dad, I think. I can barely keep my own family straight much less John's.

Mine is over towards the calculator/numbers part of my keyboard. It is a dual button that I have no idea what the other part does. On my old computer it says PRNT SCRN. This one spells it outright above SysRq (the one I have no idea of). I guess keyboards are all different. But something similar is on most.

I couldn't print my screen for the longest time until someone else gave me a blow-by-blow of how to do it, Carol. And there are buttons on my keyboard that I still have no idea what they do. I am afraid to mess with them in case I blow up my computer.

Isn't that the truth????

I will wait until after Christmas--then I will begin to try to "learn" how that all works.

It was a contest in the kinzville news on Friday only. And everyone who put in a charity where they thought the cares money would be helpful gets a medieval tapestry that can only be gotten there. (one per email address) Rachel reminded us here on Friday to do it. Some are receiving codes for the tapestries in their emails. They enter the code into the code shop and get the tapestry. There may be more opportunities in the future and I will PM you if I find them, Carol as well as announce it here.

Oh, I hope so, Sheri. If not then you may need to call tech support. I haven't opened but one of mine. And that was on my Euro account last night.

Congrats to both of you, (and to Brennan). I sure wish I knew that you wanted an elephant fountain, though, Jiffy. Those are cool because they can go outdoors or indoors.

Today I adopted a webkinz cares kitty---"Maisy". I thought that I would have double the abilities---but no, after the initial gifts, influx of cash, and of course her bed room--(it is purple clap) it is the same as if I had 1 pet.---is this how it works???---If it is that is fine, I am just curious.

also, I have another question: when are the rare items for sale in the curio shop???

yes, it's always like you have 1 pet. I thought the same as you when I first started.

I'm not sure about the rare items.

I posted in the username section to ask your daughter to add bestofour to her list.

Valarie is still sick with the flu, or something---she went to the Drs. today & got some meds.---I guess it may not be simply the flu.

I called her and told her about adding you because with being sick I was not sure she would be coming on the forum. why

Thanks for the info sheri.

I can start posting the time of the rare every day if you would like
Yes multiple pets but you can only really play with one at a time. You can take one swimming and then click on another and the original will keep swimming. But the second can't go into the pool too.

offering to do that is very nice of you , Tina-----but is there a way I can figure it out?? I hate to make you go thru that every day.....

I noticed that thing about playing with one pet at a time---I brought my kitty into the all purpose room where "Froggie" was, and he just 'sat' there---doing nothing--ah well _ I will 'get' it sooner or later...... idea

I sent you a pm, Carol about where to find info
Tonight is the last day to get christmas themed items if you are missing any. And I am expecting the site to be down tomorrow for updating
I am hoping they will have their new Asian theme furniture in after the update.

thanks--I have been looking at the christmas themed items----I bought a tree for valarie---but otherwise i think I am good there.

I had enough furniture bought to pretty well furnish my kitties room, so now I only have 1 empty room---I will wait to see what webkinz site has that is new, before I begin to fill it up. thumbup

Again, Thanks... kissie

Tomorrow starts winterfest. If you hang around in your room or anywhere where your dock is visible, snowflakes will float across the screen from left to right. Click on them before they disappear and you can get some fun stuff. It goes until the 18th.
So far in the Asian accounts they seem to go at around 11 minute intervals.
