Just to make people aware of this DIGOXIN for the heart patients .

Rushed sister to the hospital yesterday, she was on that. ANd almost at deaths door......

Hoping for a better today.

THe digoxin was recalled I read online ..........The tablets contained a double dosage ........And it can cause death.

If you know anyone on that.........

Yesterday her heart beat was 30 beats per min.. After they too the dig. off her, it is 60 beats per min.....
My brother and wife had her rush to the hospital. Doc said there was nothing wrong with her....??????????

Just want any one who might be on it to have it checked out..

Were there yesterday...
She i setting, ate supper..
Now a kidney concern........it worked friday, stopped yesterday.. Said the kidneys has taken a terrible beating.
digoxin is the monster.....
She isnt on any critical list but.......

I dont know medical but read all the stuff on here........Were praying hard.

Would mind if you folks help..

of course we will continue to pray my mother had digoxin poison. i understand.

Now did she make out Jiffy..Maybe you can tell me something.

It is so depressing to thing the doctor gives that ..With horror results.

she made it dodge. it is an important drug, but most dr's test on a regular basis to prevent overdose. it helps regulate the heart. but in cases like your sister, where the drug manufacturer made a mistake, or like my mother, where the dr (a general practitioner, not her cardiologist - second mistake) doubled the dose without looking at the whole record, it can be deadly.

momma was in the hospital for 2 weeks and was never the same, but she had heart trouble before so we don't know if it was the prior trouble or the meds. we lost momma 5 months later.

I am thinking the worst.
What was the heart rate beat? Hers is up to 60 now, was 30. Has a breathing mask on .
She is a very heavy women and makes it harder.

My experience with this has been once it's discovered and they are in the hospital they live to tell the story. I hope this is the case for your sister. Hope you're getting some rest.

Were taking a break todsy.
Brother is going down..
Head nurse told us last nite, they will does some dial.. however it is spelled.
Starting today .......An they are hoping it gets the kidney going again.

Her mind is good, she ate most of the supper turkey and tators ,peaches.

They are going this afternoon, and will call us if there is a change today.

I feel yucky today and thought the smell of all the stuff made me feel like throwing up.
Still feel a little today..
But I am ok.. Worried of course.

The nurse did say last nite, it would of been fatal if we hadn't got her there.

Brother went down an back, said if there was any change he would call.

that was 2 and half hours ago.

We stayed home today......Brother went in afternoon so he could watch the game at 5.

I got to sleep.

Thanks for asking.. We didnt call there cause she cant use the phone with a mask on her to breath..They take it off to eat.. Oxygen......

Up date
On my sis........She did go on the kidney machine today for 4 hours. They are hoping to get it going again.. Only been off one day.

Giving her a new oxygen mask to try to get more into here. Claim that slows the heart beat.

So we wait .Going down 2maro after 5.........I guess we all feel awful, but just emagine how awful she feels.

Barb, of course I am praying too.

and it sounds like your sister is at least holding her own.

I am happy for her and for you.

I had 2 other sisters who died of doctors mistakes.
One got a kidney infection from an unattended wound in the nursing home.

The other preonitis......Which would of only taken a shot to cure, and the florida doctors didnt know what it was till she died......

So we saved this on.
I was at her house thursday and cleaned the whole place and fed her soup.

I knew it didnt look right. Made her promise to call brother if in danger.
He lives couple streets away.. I live 7 mile. She did call him. And they made her go .

Dodge: Sorry to hear a bout your other 2 sister's and the doctor's mistakes.

I was not so misfortunate, but I too know what a poor dr. can do--or not do.

I am glad to hear that this sister's kidney's are recovering.

I will pray thigns continue to progress favorably for her.

So glad you were there for her.
