Ohhh, Patunia. You sent me one of my 'most wanted' items. The banana tree. Thank you so much. A wonderful surprise.

Ladies, I am still wandering my way thru the Webkinz site.

How would I find out what items any of you would want>>

For that matter how do I decide what items I want--(I did see the place where I could start a wish list of my own.

Is there a place for a wish list on MyPage? I haven't checked it out.
If you go to the w-shop and look at room themes. They will have all of the items for the various themes in there. And you can click on preview and see a little thumbnail with most of the items used. Also check out the exclusives. They are fun to look into and dream about.
As far as gifting; a lot of us 'old timers' have much of what we really need. You spend your KC on things that you really want. If you do see an item when you are cruising around, ask here. We might have some spares.I have a lot of spare junk sitting in storage waiting for wishlist requests on my one webkinz chat site.
We will help where we can. In my main account out of 5 of them, my house is over 50 rooms. At least 10 of those are set aside for storage, wall-to-wall junk. I have storage in my other accounts as well.
If you have a question about how a game might work or what may not be working or something, this is the place to ask.

I was thinking, we should have a set color on our phone that we all go into if we turn it on....so we can find each other easier...

How do you all feel about light blue? wavy

Blue is the most popular color and is often full. I would try for orange or yellow. But I only turn on my phone when I am seeing if a name is there that I want to send something to from that account. I almost always forget to turn it on at other times. .

How do we get it to stick. I set my phone color all the time but when I log back on it's changed. I'll give it a try though.

You need to set the color every new log in. It will open each time on a random color.

its a little more complicated.
you need to take a "screenshot"
(i hold the "fn" key (for some it is the ctrl key) and click the
prt sc key. some computers, all you need to click is just the prt sc key.
then go to "paint" or whatever you edit your pictures with
(i use paint) and "paste"
now crop it, copy itto a new file & save it to your pictures or somewhere you
can find it easy. i have a folder just for webkinz, cuz, well, duh
I AM AN ADDICT!!!!
then upload that pic to your photobucket account or snapfish or whatever you use.
then copy the url and paste it in your post, like usual.
once i did this, a couple times, its pretty easy, providing photbucket is
running good that moment.
hope this is clear, i'm not real good at explaining computer stuff.

It should go in there. Try again later. Sometimes new items don't work right at first. The program has a hard time recognizing them.
When you have things like plants or books on top of items like tables or stands, sometime the item on top will get stuck. It will appear to be out of the room altogether or it won't move even if you move the table from underneath it. Leave the table or whatever in place and log out/in and see if it is fixed. If not you might need to ask ganz to fix it. I have a bunch of items 'stuck'. I haven't bothered asking yet.

Missing coins is not good. Change your password now. And see if anyone is one your phone that you don't recognize. Delete anyone you don't know.

Carol, try clicking on the button by your dock that says get items from storage.
sometimes the items don't show up till you "load your dock"
just a thought. the kids thought they were missing stuff from their docks when they first started cuz the only thing that was showing was the food and clothes, then when they clicked that button, voila! everything is there, just hidden.

I got a webmail that Elvis will expire 11/2 if I don't buy another Webkinz. I've only bought a million but the grans and Ally have registered them on their sites. I'm not sure I'm going to buy another one for me since I work Ally's and Tori's sites a lot. Elvis may really leave the building.

That is awesome, Patunia. I haven't bought any rugs or tiles yet. I am still in the 'planning' stages. I really want some of the outdoor flagstones though. I might need to buy a new yard. Mine are all quite stuffed.

The window with the red polka-dotted curtains is called a large pane window. It is an adoption exclusive. If I see one hanging around one of my houses, I will send it along to you. Not my favorite item.
You are the proud owner of a large pane window now, Sheri.

i seriously disliked this window when i first got one, but as time passed it grew on me, hungry as we are for things animated in our webkinz world houses. now i just kind of like how the clouds just drift lazily by. sorry i didn't respond to your question, too many irons in the fire this week/month/year.

drag it into your room and hold it against the wall in an open spot until you see a green square appear, then let it go.
sometimes you have to get the furniture out of the way to accomplish placing a window. once you get it on the wall, you can move it back and forth to wherever it will fit. thankfully, they don't break if you drop them! lol

Ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh, that is FUNNY. I didn't know there was a camel! When I was little me and my dad and brother got chased by a mad camel--we had to dive in some bushes to escape it's wrath.... lol

I guess the camel is new. I just got it because Ted picked it. The plush is cute but the virtual pet is funny looking and not so cute.

Yes, very stumpy. Hardly any humps at all. It looks more like a llama to me. And even a llama needs a little more leg.

That is how they all go in, Carol. And fencing in your yard is similar. I am glad you like it. You are welcome.

Ok. I am dumb. I can't get a picture of my pets room to load. I press print screen but the only place I can get it to paste is Word. I can't get it to paste to any picture place, like picture trail. Someone I did it last time but I can't figure out what I did. Then I can't get it to open from word so I can edit and upload it. Help!!!!

I have to press alt and print screen at the same time.
Then I paste mine to paint. Paint is under accessories in my computer. Then I can cut it to size there and save it. I save to a folder I made called webkinz rooms. Then I can load it from there to photobucket.
And that is why you don't see many of my webkinz rooms. It is a lot of work.

in paint, at the top left there is an edit button. It has a drop down with paste option that will be highlighted if you have something saved to paste in there.

wow, your rainbow room is coming along great! and look, you got HORSES!!!!
my niece's girl, emily has horses too, and so when Tracy spotted the pink pony in my stash bag, we put the pink pony into her room so she could be with all the other horses emily is collecting...i don't know if she has seen it or not yet. they live way off in the boonies and only get to get on the internet once a month when they go into the city to go to the library. i would go nutz without my webkinz.... neener i think all the horses look really cool in webkinz world, tho.

Those are the cloud super beds, Carol. They 'float'. I have a couple of horses. I am ashamed to say, I don't know how many pets I have. I haven't counted lately. Over 120 though spread around in four accounts. I love my webkinz too.

Ok, in paint, when I have my pic there, I use the cut tool on the left. it looks like a dotted line square. you start at one corner and drag it across the top of the portion of the pic you want and stop when you want to finish. You can redo that if you go to far or mess it up. Then I don't alter the size at all. I cut/paste that cut portion to a new page and then save that to my pictures.

thanks Tina. I'll try again.

And I've finally got Ally's money up to 10,700.00 It's been a struggle. Her pet doesn't eat as much as in the beginning but still eats constantly. When I contacted Webkinz they said they would fix it, couldn't give me another account and it did get a little better. Ally has added other pets and she does it from her house. She's only 9 and I can't get her to add them to a different account and just let this one close down. Darbi, Colby and now Tori have accounts that work correctly so I'm constantly sending stuff to sell or to place in Ally's rooms since I spend a lot of her money on food. They are very sweet and don't mind helping Ally out at all. Working her garden regularly helps a lot but I get sick of that. I just got through doing her dailys and working her garden and her pet ate 10 pumpkins while everyone else ate only 1 or 2 things. Anyway I'm emailing her that she can now buy some furniture if she does it quickly. She can get a lot with $10,700.00!!!!!

you buy an outside room. If you click map I think it gives you an option to buy an outside room. Let me know if you get one and I'll send you all types of seeds. Pumpkins sell for $10.00 each so you make your money back in no time. Only think is you have to weed all the time. Very aggravating.

Ah, if you want a garden then you either need to plant in your current backyard or buy another.($1000) The seeds are available in the gardening section of the w-shop for $45-$50 a packet. They each grow one plant (square). You never have to water. But you do need to weed when they get weedy. And harvest when ready. You can either eat the produce or sell it in the w-shop. If you get a garden let me know and I will help you out with seeds too.
And Cindy, the weeding in ww is more than in real life gardens and so much less satisfying. But harvesting almost makes up for it.
I have 5 pretty full gardens and earn an average of $2000 a week or there abouts. Mostly watermelons and pumpkins.

so if you could help me with some seed that would be great---what do yo recommend I plant. Is one more profitable to grow than the other??

Carol, I just sent you some seeds from bestofour. Evidentially we haven't exchanged names for Darbi's (toodta), Colby's (colbysfarm), Ally's (DarbiAubry8), or Tori's (tute8) account. I'll send you a request so accept me and I'll send more seeds.

Gardening for profit used to be strawberries made the most income. But they changed how much they bought them for in the W-shop. So I did my own study and kept track for a month. Watermelons and pumpkins took the prize for income. I also like them best for seeing the weeds easily and not growing so tall as to interfere working with the plants just behind them. I will send you some of each.

Yes the already veggies are just for show. You can't harvest them. They never change.
And now Carol, again. You never have to water. Dragging that watering can all over makes gardening get old very fast. You will suffer major burnout. The plants don't grow faster. They don't get any less weedy.

They will magically disappear when you click a rake on them. You will get to recognize the weedy patches. But you can use the tape measure inspect tool and it will tell you to weed or water (don't) or harvest. If you miss weeds or harvesting for a couple of days the patch turns brown. You need to take the shovel (Dig)tool to it and it will restart. Those seeds are expensive but they will grow forever. And you can move each square around within the yard at any time without changing anything. But if you remove it to your dock it becomes a packet of seeds again.

In a month or so it will snow in ww. You will wake up one day and all of your outdoor rooms will be covered in snow. You can keep on gardening and harvesting right through it all.

The pools must be heated, the pets can continue to swim. The snow only covers the grassy areas. So your dirt patch around your pumpkins will still be bare dirt. And outdoor furniture doesn't pile up with snow. But it looks cold.

I assume the webkinz site will ask me if I want to buy a heating device for my pool???

I have planted all my seeds, and i am repeatedly told my garden is ok and does not need weeded.--it does say some parts need watered. I have watered some.

how can I get by with not watering if I am directed to do so???

Ignore the watering. You do not need to do it. You can if you want but it gets old fast. You start wishing for a sprinkler very soon.
