Dodge--have you read the questionaire?? the questions are really just general ones so the recipient of your name will have an idea of you and what you like.--and onnce you go out & start looking it is really not that hard to buy gifts for your "person". I had a great time last year

I did fill it out for real; like I said, I'm really quite picky, not really into arts and crafts, not really into gardening, and I snowmen... :x...

I don't usually give too many ideas and people seem to always send me such wonderful things....some are things that I really have always wanted but never thought to mention and some are things that I absolutely love but never really thought of before!! It is fun! You should join Barb! You would love it!!!

I had Diane's name last year. I tried to get stuff off her list but I couldn't find everything so I sent other stuff. I didn't get everything off my list either but I liked what I got and the rain gauge saved my flowers.

Oh yeah, you don't HAVE to send the stuff on the persons list...it's just to be helpful to others. I already have a few things I bought just for the swap and I don't have any clue who I have.... It's fun, and not to be taken with disappointment if you don't get the things on your list. Although I try to get something from the list.

As far as the phone number thing goes Barb the only person you would even have to give it to is Jiffy....maybe she even already has it? It's not something that you have to give to everyone.

James you should join in, no guarantee that you'll get the mouse you want but it's fun to play.

Well I signed up. And I filled out the form.
ITs a bit different than when I did Secret Santa on a horse board,
What we did was create an Alias, So we could post to the person we got and ask questions and find out more stuff about them but they did not know who they had.
This will be fun too. I already have ideas.

Oh Boy, I actually picked up a few neat things today at my favorite nursery garden shop.
I know I know have not even gotten my person, but I figure If I like it someone else might, CAn always keep it for myself.
I got a great idea how I am going to do my goodie box!

I get that excited too. And I always end up buying too much. Or buying stuff for my person and then I have to buy one for me too cause I like it so much.

Like I said Ditchy, you don't HAVE to give stuff off the lists. If there is stuff you get excited about and would like a friend to have, you can give that. I've gotten some true surprises from friends on this forum and it's all been great. Sometimes we don't think of things ourselves that we would really love. I have to mention my rain gauge here - I didn't request it but everyone on here knows how I've enjoyed it.

2 more weeks until we get our names but I can't wait!!!

I bought an item intended for my giftee today. I have items put away that I buy right along (ala Loz-style shopping). It is all fun.
