need prayers for a friend of mine going to have by pass surgery tomorrow and when that's done she's having back surgery. Her name is Judy and she is raising 2 of her grand kids. One is in Ashley's class and the other younger.

Prayers being sent up for all... and I have a request too... my Mom had to have a chest xray the other day when we took her to the doc cause she has a bad cough.. they ruled out bronchitis and pneumonia ... but she is still coughing and they saw a spot on her lung in the side view xray- could be nothing at all .. we tried to find an recent xray but the next one was from 2003 and that was to old... we have to go back next week for a CT scan for her-please pray with me that it turns out to be nothing... really scared here cause except when he lived with me most of her life she has lived with people that smoke a lot .. my father- my stepdad , my sis, her ex. my niece and her hubby too-

I was just coming in to post that! prayers for all...

I too am praying for our Gustav affected friends. And will continue next week or so for Jiffy and everyone else affected by Hanna heading in their direction.(I so wish I could buy her a generator so she can keep in touch)

These stories are so senseless, Bill. No one knows why. Prayers.

That is so sad. His mom said he had been extremely mentally ill for years. Too bad he didn't get better help before this, it may have never happened. Very sad.

How very sad for the families,, someone's mother , brother, sister, daughter , father or son, gunned down as they simply lived their dailey lives,
God Bring some sort of Comfort to the families of the slain,

prayers for the families involved, prayers for all of our family here with needs, spoken and unspoken, prayers for our military and families, and prayers for our service sector workers (police, fire, health care, teachers, etc.).

and if you would add joejoe's grandmother - Pat (breast cancer) and a former coworker of scott, kate, & ellie's - Robert (throat cancer) that would be awesome.

True we need the prayers for children taken advantage of......How evil they have become. Even the school teachers and professers and Presidents of colleges.

I want to thank you all so much for all your prayers and well wishes. So far so good on my surgery but I am thinking this recovery will be long and hard. But I am going to go out of my way to make this one work.

MY prayers and blessings go out to all of our "family" here and all of thier loved ones, for needs spoken and unspoken.

Yeah, it's me....again. I would appreciate some prayers for me. I've been having some problems and have been in a huge amount of pain for the past 3 weeks. I've had to wait to go to the dr until I could get insurance. The doctors where I live will not even see anyone without insurance. And I have a feeling that my problem may require surgery. I've been so anxious needing to know exactly what is wrong with me. The wait has been terrible. Now that I have the insurance and a dr appt Tuesday I'm terrified to go and actually find out what it is. Anyway, I'd really appreciate all your positive thoughts and prayers. And of course I'll let everyone know after I've been to the dr.

Well, I didn't find out anything today. I was under the impression that they were going to do an ultrasound today, but they didn't. They had me come in the office and sit there for over 2 hours to tell me they would schedule an ultrasound for Friday. I don't know what the point of that was. Anyway, I should find out friday if it is just ovarian cysts or cancer. Please keep praying.
