It has been a while since I tried starting any perennials from seed, but I am making a new large perennial garden and there are some things I was thinking would start well by seed.
Delphinium
Hollyhock
lupine (wild)
Foxgloves
Echinacea
Erigeron
Polemonium
I think that is all as seed.
The seed catalog says the foxgloves need to be started in June to flower the next June so I suppose I missed that. Any advice on the other stuff? Do you like Pacific Giants or New Zealand Delphinium better? Also I can't find Hollyhock seed that is just the plain old fashioned kind with only pinks and whites. I am particular about color and don't want red or yellow.
