Hi Hippie what did you want to know?

Garlic can be grown by putting a clove in average soil. Plant in the fall because it needs a cold period in order to create more cloves.

Horseradish is easiest to grow from a piece of root. get a piece 2 inches long and plant at a 22 degree angle. the root will take care of the rest. Harvest in the Fall.

Horseradish is really rather interesting. My root tried to head for china even though I put it at the 22 degree angle. So if your going to pot it go big. Also when you harvest it the little roots that you leave behind will all sprout new plants the next year. So for me I made about a 1 foot by 3 foot space for the horseradish so that it can spread all it wants inside that area. And I have little quilted canning jars to put the finished horseradish in and give as part of a gift basket at christmas time for my neighbors and friends.

that's probably way to much information right? I do that, sorry. Enjoy your herbs.

I'll look forward to seeing your pictures. I need some ideas of what to do with my deck. I've never had one before.
