Ok everyone I need your help here! I can start Lotus seeds easy enough, I can also get them to grow, Up to a point. Then they just quit, and die. I plant them in good soil keep then warm and in 3 inches of water. They grow like crazy sendin out runners and new leaves, then its over! they stop and die???????????? cant figure the problem. Any helpful hints would be put to good use as I have yet more seeds to try to grow.

I think they need a minimum of 8 inches of water. That's just from reading about them I've never grown them.

just started a new bath of seed. guess ill keep trying until i figure it out. I know warmth is a big factor did that with a heater. No threads I read go into any detail when the plans get to this stage.We have hot days and cool nights here in utah. So ill try it one more time with the summer to help me along.Ill figure it out sooner or later, I hope.
