The azaleas have been blooming for awhile now. I just didn't think to mention it. Sometimes it's amazing that I manage to remember my name.

What is the "Plant Data Collection Project"? I have pictures of things blooming in my yard this month (May). Is that what this is for...to tell what bloomed in the member's area?

it is where you can post your collection and what is happening with your plants. so for me, i would put

zone 8b effingham county georgia southeastern us
blooming now confederate aka star jasmine

so, if someone were searching on when should their star jasmine bloom, the search engine (google, etc) would find my post and they could see that it blooms in may in southeast georgia.

does that make sense?

Thanks! What a great idea!!

I don't have exact dates for when these first bloomed but I know it was the first week of May. I'll make a note from now on.

zone 8a
Warren County, Mississippi

New Dawn climbing/rambling rose (busted its britches this year...gorgeous)
Joseph's Coat climbing/bush rose
Australian Bottle Brush Bush

Week of May 11 still blooming
Angel's Trumpet

May 16-17 still blooming
Gardenia (a.k.a. Cape Jasmine and Cape Jessamine)

Did I put the right stuff?
