that was sweet! sounds like he's a very tender hearted young man.

several years back we went to the deer lease to spend the weekend. me and hubby left out in seperate vehicles, each with one kid, on a friday after work. both needing to run errands and pick up this and that on the way. we didn't discuss what foods we were gonna take. I stopped and picked up hot dogs, bread, chips, drinks, and ice. imagine my surprise when he told me what foods he picked up.....hot dogs, bread, chips, drinks and ice. ha ha. we had hot dogs for supper, hot dogs for breakfast (so gross!) that afternoon we made a trip into town to get more food.
well, I must have caught a bug over the weekend. I'm feeling a bit better today, so I gotta get this place cleaned up! hope it rains today. haven't watered in a few days. just can't stand the heat and pollen since i've been sick.

I'm sorry the weather conditions are getting you "under the weather", Cricket!

Yes, my son is a tender-hearted boy.

We were given two hands to hold, two eyes to see, two ears to listen & two legs to walk. But why were we given only one heart?
The other heart was given to another for us to find.

That was sweet of Maxi~good thing is that you didn't have to eat it all lol Mind you I ate a chicken burger for breakfast today...after I ate my piece of chocolate cake. I am the worst breakfast eater, it's awful.

I always shudder when I read what you've eaten for breakfast, Tam, and I thought we were pretty bad often having dinner leftovers! But some of your combinations... plus the sweets.... YIPES! lol

I gotta get out of this wheel chair for a while. I'm awfully sore today, still.

I'm a sugar addict. I admit it.

Maybe you should take a rest for a bit Merme.

We still haven't gotten the rain predicted for today but right now the sky is black as pitch out over the beach. It looks like it's gonna break loose any time now.

I gotta stick my head out the door and call my son.

wavy scott, sounds like you did well.

merme, nana, cricket, hope you are feeling better

cindy, i'm jealous of the couch

tamara, i'm jealous of the chocolate cake and chicken for b'fast, i LOVE fried chicken for breakfast.

carol, i'm jealous of your rain. i feel better when it rains (not before, while it's building up though) and i was noticing the ponds are getting low around here, it's been dry nearly a week. we should be getting daily showers, but it isn't happening.

wavy if i missed anyone, hello! wavy

Hi Jiffy,
I will feel okay when it warms up and quits raining, I know we need the moisture so will try and not get to gripey about it... just take my motrin as I can.. supposed to warm up tomorrow to 80 so that will help a lot...
