my little girl had been wanting some flowers so when they went on sale we went and picked her out some
red miniature roses
well they were very beautiful
we had them in the window
watered them when they were dry and everything
but once the buds bloomed they fell off and that was it no more flowers so i thought that maybe its because they need more sunlight an dfresher air but once i planted them they turned brown and wilted
i planted them right before it got cold, though it was a lil chilly when i planted them, but i didnt think it would hurt
i just did what my friend said and put straw around the bottom, close to the roots area
the stems are still there but no leaves and def no flowers
did i kill them or is that their way of sleeping for the winter???

I also had a yellow one do the same thing. boohooThe flowers seamed to ROT off. I ended up cutting it down after it lost all of its leaves. flwr Then it did die. shock
I figured it was forced to flower and had a short whylife so ive never tried it again.

Im not sure on miniature roses but if it is cold where you are then it is probably gone dormant for the winter. So just keep the staw around the base of the stem and see if it starts to bloom come spring. just wait and see what happens ive never had a mini rose and just a big one but its in a pot on my porch and ive brought it inside since its been cold at night lately and its done fine of course our weather and planting is very diff here in florida so im sure someone will come along with more info... sorry i couldnt be of much help...

pleaseee... Betty Crocker aint got nothing on me =)

SOME LEAVES FELL OTHERS TURNED ALMOST BLACK COLORED
BUT COME spring THEY TURNED GREEN N STRATED BLOOMING
