Hi all! Live in Utica,Ky. Happy to find this site and very interested in getting the link for reporting nests in by own yard. We have quite a few this year and our resident robins are always back! I have a Koi pond and garden surrounds it. We now have around 30 fish and plenty of frogs and slugs! I hate slugs...but we usually win the fight yearly! Looking forward to being here and sharing the sunny days with all of you!!!

Hi jl - welcome!

My husband and I are starting up a koi pond that we had dug out last year, and I'd love to hear any info you can share about your pond. Do you have any pictures? We had a forum called "water gardens" where we talk about that - maybe you could post there?

Down in "Hobbies" there is a birding forum where you can post all about your nests - also please share any pictures you might have of them?

Looking forward to reading your posts... Lynne

Hello-there "neighbor"!! That must be a pretty big koi pond! Wow! We've got plenty of slugs around our yard too (Columbus, OH), but no frogs to help w/the problem. Build a koi pond? We've got 2 little boys under 6 who are having a very tough time w/us (husband & I) digging out our new vegetable garden. They help for about 2 min & then they're off doing something else. Usually, they're begging us to play w/them. Maybe a pond when they're more interested in helping to build it than play in it. grin

Welcome!
