Hi I am Tom, I bought a venus fly trap and it is doing well. I put it in a teracota pot and placed it in a small round fish bowl. I keep it in 2 inches of water and have left it to do its own thing. The terracota pot has grown moss all over it and the plant has had lots of traps and now is starting to flower. I am really pleased with it.

hi tom. thanks for the update on your flytrap, but please don't use all caps. that is considered yelling and some people think it is rude. i find it hard to read myself.

Congrats Tom! However, the Venus Fly Trap is an outdoor plant that won't do well long term indoors. They are outside plants that need full sun and dormancy in the winter. So, come spring, after last frost get it outside in the Sun!

My memory's not as sharp as it used to be. Also, my memory's not as sharp as it used to be.

Glad to hear that your's is doing well. I got one a while ago, but it didn't make it. I kept it indoors too, so probably this was the mistake.
