Us Webbie Nutz here are playing with our new pets. Brennan got the Wacky Zingoz and the Lil Kinz Leopard today. We found the zingoz cheaper than the other stores. We paid regular Webkinz price for him. He's really cute. I love it when he says, 'shake that thang!'

You just get to play the game. It's not much different than the regular one. You get the choice of 3 bats. There is a second batter guy that you can hit the zingoz with it you can swat him quick enough. And there are kinz cash coins in the air. If the zingoz goes through them it adds 1kc each to your winnings.

Thank you, Jiffy. My med rooms are pretty much set in stone (pun intended)
The rare for today is on right now (6-7 pm) for another 15 minutes. It is the Medieval chest and the opus sofa (Kooky scientist theme).

Here you go Jiffy. This is my charm room without the flooring in it.
[Linked Image]
Two table and chair sets from two accounts. The charm boxes/thingies are what you get when you purchase the bracelet and the necklace.
One item not shown here is the good/bad fairy topiary. That is an outdoor item.

I think the only thing I don't have is the telescope. I didn't particularly like it.
I like the old timey icebox with the theme. And the vortexes are pretty cool with it too.

Well, I checked and there is one place near enough. I do wish they would go by zip codes though and show a listing of places close by. Doing the town thing is a bear.

Hey it says that for spending $10 that they give you a free Webkinz, one per customer! So for buying 2 webkinz I could get 2 free(if I have mom buy one for me too).

There is a place about 30 minutes from me listed as taking part.

If a store comes up on the locator does that mean they are participating? I've got tons of stores coming up but the calendar thingy won't do anything.

I will have to to make sure. There are about 10 stores here close by that come up on there. Surely atleast 1 of them will be doing it.

I figured it out now. If the calendar doesn't come up next to the store they are not participating. I've searched into Ohio even and can't find one that is. I'll find it somewhere.

That bites...mine isn't in on it then. And I put in Baltimore and not ONE store showed up, not that I'd go there--it's 3 hours away, but I can't believe not one store shows up for a big city like Baltimore. I have yet to see one calendar icon.

I would still call to make sure. Because we have webkinz selling stores here but they aren't coming up on the W day calendar.
I want to go alone when I go. That is my 'me' time. Or take Ted. He is a joy to take places because he doesn't want everything.

I just caught myself looking at places an hour away. I guess it's really not worth driving that far and spending that much on gas for a free Webkinz. Kinda defeats the purpose if I have spend what 2 or 3 Webkinz would cost in gas to get there.

If you go to the locator and look in KY and find Louisville, you'll see how they have it set up with the calendar of events. Just to give you an idea. Unfortunately, Louisville is about an hour and a half away from me.

OK, I see. There is one store nearby with events but they are cheesy ones. None with free webkinz like Loz's. California just never got into it like other places. Which is kind of cool because the stuff is available longer on the shelves. But they don't get new stuff as quickly either.

I think all the participating stores are giving away a free one with $10 purchase to the first 500 people. That's the way I understood it. The activities are a bit cheesy. I would go if one of the stores that we normally go to were doing it, but I'm not going to go out of my way for it.

Loz, I think the dream o' meter bed (Science theme) will be in the c-shop at 10 pm. $4800
And then maybe the robo-handy table at the 11 pm hour. It doesn't look like you have that one either. $1600

tracy is just the opposite of Ted. she has about a 10 minute saturation point, then she's touching everything insight and whining that she wants this and that. i have walked away from her once, leaving her standing there flatfooted with nobody to whine at. it hasn't happened again though. and she knows when i say stop and give her The Look, she had better! makes dawdling over the webkinz miserable for both of us. so now we pre-select online and go to the store with a goal. and then she knows she can have ONE thing. this wouldn't work with Loz, i am afraid. lol

I saw that you guys were talking about the Webkinz Extravaganza Day. I was in a store last week to buy Tristen a Webkinz and they gave me a flyer because they are participating in it. I will take Tristen to it. They are also asking kids to draw pictures related to WW. They are having drawings every week and if your name gets drawn you get to spin a special wheel to win Webkinz. I think it is a good idea.

That should be a lot of fun for Tristan, Jessica. Our one local place is having a drawing contest for kids, too. But I don't know about the wheel.

If you click on the main page advertising the event, it will take you to a locator. Type in country (I get this wrong half the time because I live in Cal so I hit Ca) then state then city. If it comes up wit a store with a calendar on the right, those are the participating stores. When you click on the calender it tells you days and times and what events are planned there.

Did anyone else get this month's potm? I just adopted my two. They turned out to be girls after all. I would never dye a dog and certainly not pink. Even Ted put the plushes back in the bag.

Tina, thank you. kissie You didn't have to do that. I appreciate it so much. You did save me some money. He has wanted that car a long time. He saw it for the first time a long time ago when you posted a picture of one of your rooms and he had a fit for it. The cars are his favorite things in WW. There are a couple pets we have bought just for the cars they came with. He was going to get the dalmation just for the fire truck then he finally ended up with the truck....I think you gave him that, too! You are a doll!

I got the Magic 9 Ball for my POTM gift....was hoping for something else, but oh well---there are more months to come.

Hey, I have so many cars and stuff that I started a "Park here" room.....I have more thru my house I just haven't went thru to get them all yet....I figured this was a good way to be able to find them because I can never remember what room I stick them in....I know it's not an exciting room, but it really helps me with the organization of them.

Brennan has a garage for his cars also. He had them strung all over the place and would want a particular one and then make me go through all the rooms to find it for him. I finally made the garage so I wouldn't have to do that anymore. We still have some loose in the house, but the garage does help.

Yes, 'Scott' looks very nice indeed.

Brennan is going to be so excited when he gets home and sees that car! I'm so glad he hasn't gotten into the POTM stuff. I would have been in a mess buying all of the pets...again. Most of them he has already. If he doesn't have the lil or big, which ever is the POTM, he has the other.

I know that I've sent out a couple of pink caddies before that I have traded for. Probably to girls. I wouldn't have given one to a boy unless I knew he really wanted it. Don't want to make (ego) waves. What other vehicles does Brennan not have that I should be on the lookout for, Rachel? I might even have a spare. I am not yet ready to give up my only ufo or my space shuttle yet. But I have a whole roomful of other vehicles. It is called "gift room" for a reason.

I think the only vehicles he doesn't have now are the tiger striped convertable and the ambulance.

Do you have a Booger Gets an A trophy Tina? I won a couple more if you want one. It's pretty neat with the working calculator.

I don't have one of those trophies, Rachel. Jonni earned one but it popped up with the message that her score was unreasonably high and nothing would be awarded. I just sent the tiger convert. I am not quite willing to give up my ambulance yet.
