Oh and that box from southern California might wait a bit until she's ready for a hearty laugh. I was concerned but she told me to send it.

I am glad you are taking pictures for Cindy, Bill. She will be so happy to see them, and I'm sure there are many more blossoms and blooms to follow, that she will be able to see first hand.

Bill just think of the fun Cindy will have opening all her letters & packages

Rachel, you hang in there---before you know it you'll be out there with your mom. And that will be so good for her AND for you! I'm hoping time goes quick until you can get out there.

I am praying for Cindy and Bill and Rachel. It will be good Bill when Rachel and Brennen get out there with you. You will be able to lean on each other and be there for Cindy when she gets better. God Bless you all.

Sorry to hear that the airline isn't really working with you Rachel. It must be so frustrating for you but it won't be long now and you will be there and it will help all of you so much!!

I finally got a chance to sit today and catch up again, boy went thru lots of emotions in a few minutes there- but so glad I read all the way thru.. I have been praying for Cindy the whole while- I know she will be getting well soon and doing well again- now you do get some rest so you will be fine when she does get home.... lots of pictures is a wonderful idea for her- put them on cd's and she can watch the over and over later on when she feels better...
I know how hard waiting is ... but she will be back to her onery self soon ...
I know the airlines used to be much more helpful with stuff like this - seems like they are only out for the money now- but Fri. will be here quickly and she will be more on he way to better by then too.

I really thought the airline would be more flexible with us. Or maybe I was just hopeful that they would. I just need to be near my Mommy. Atleast I'm able to get there Friday.

When one of us is sick or hurting we all feel the pain and are upset and worried and praying our hearts out and sending well wishes and cheerful thoughts.

I thank God for my forum family all the time. You all are there for me more than a lot of the "real" people in my life are.

Here's to hoping that the week FLIES by for you--before you know it you'll be right there and you'll be able to kiss her and hug her.

BTW, tell her I send her lots of pervy kisses. A really bad one that we reserve for in the hostess lounge. :wink:

She will be more able to appreciate your visit too. You are very near to her in your hearts now. Physically you will be there soon.

OMG I JUST found this thread. I had no idea. I am so sorry!! I do not know Cindy, I have never talked to her, but I have seen her posts and have read how much she is loved by everyone.

I just read this entire thread and am sitting here all teary and I just don't know what to say.

I am praying for her to make a quick comfortable recovery! And my prayers go out to you too Bill! And Rachel! May the Lord comfort you! Please keep us all posted!

I am just dropping in to say I will be praying for you all and will be thinking of you all.--Especially Cindy-- :wink:

Been praying for God to hold Cindy in his hands and fold them around her and take all sickness out of her, for this time while she's unaware I've been praying for God to be whispering nice things in her ear and letting him know that she's loved by so many.

Been praying for Bill and Rachel, for God to comfort them both and give them a peace of mind to know that Cindy will be just fine, and that she'll pull thru this yet again and be back to her own bad self in no time. Praying for Bill to be able to rest himself up in preparation for Cindy to come home, and for the week to fly by for Rachel so she can be reunited with her mommy. Been praying that when Cindy sees Brennan it will put her on track for a full recovery, that he will be just the medicine she'll need to cheer her up once she's awake.

Praying for the nurses and doctors too, that God grants them the ability to bring back Cindy's health and that they do everything in their power to make her better and stronger each day. Praying for them to understand just how special she is, and how much she means to so many people.

No change today. I really feel like by the end of the day they will have some good news for us. It will be a long day, though.

Today is the anniversary of what happened with Malcolm and us losing him. It's a rough day every year for both of us. I believe this year will turn this day around for us, though. I truly believe that today is the day they will tell us she will be ok.
