Thanks for the site. I will be keeping an eye on them. It will be a sign of spring for me! usually we get them around Mother's day. this year who knows. We still are buried in snow!

You have to click the words "report form" on there below the maps. It's in this sentence: Please use the report form for immediate consideration of your sighting.

Loz...don't they show up there around your birthday??...which is coming soon!! grin

I just noticed this topic today and I had just said to James yesterday...I wish I had kept track of when I put our feeder out last year because we had hummingbirds right away but now I can't remember when that was. rolz

You can change your post display options on each part of the forum, down below the list of topics....if you change it to show posts from all dates you can find all the much older posts like that one. clap

April 30th was my earliest one last year, 3 days later than the previous year.

My birthday is on the 11th....can't wait for it, and for the birds to arrive. lol

That is very far for this time of year! But I'm pretty west of that and in the mountains so it'll probably still be a good while. I'm excited though, ready for those little guys to return! clap

I have one new feeder, now I'd like to get at least 2 more new ones. thumbup

I bought a new hummer feeder yesterday at Dollar General Store for $3.00. If you live in central Kentucky southward, NOW is the time to get your hummer feeders filled and hangin'.

I changed the food in the one feeder I had out - no hummers yet and I hung 2 more. I have to get a hook for another one. I'm ready if they'll just come on. Hope they didn't decide to stay wherever they were in NC, probably Raleigh where there's a lot of night life. There's not much to do in Monroe, as Willy can attest too, but I will feed them.

I think they are moving a little faster than normal this year...... grin

And yep Jess, that one dot in Southwestern PA isn't too awful far from me....but they usually fill in all around me before they get here. I guess it's my elevation.

AWWWW........thanks! (bear with me....I'm still learning my way around in here)
I see I could have hung my feeder a little earlier than I did. I had a hummer the next day after I hung it up. Now I have two.
