i hate to pick on her when she's sick, but yes, we play on webkinz and it is all Cindy's fault! devil ! she got us all hooked, innocently enough (don't most addictions begin that way?) as a vehicle for our children and grands to become friends as we are. well, the darn thing is just so much fun for kids of all ages, that we (most of us) have our own accounts! lol
and some of our husbands have THEIR own accounts!!! lol lol

Most adults that know I play webkinz think I'm a little touched

I think if only they'd TRY it out themselves they'd love it. thumbup

Heck, Jeremy even plays the games on Webkinz. He got addicted to Tile Towers and I couldn't get the computer for about 2 weeks. He played so much one of the pets got sick and he actually took it to see Dr. Quack! I wonder what all of the people that work for him and think he's a big bad boss would think of him at home playing Webkinz?

I bought a webkinz for my down syndrome son in the hopes it would spark an interest in the computer. (Cindy's fault) Teddy didn't take to it but I sure did. I have a bunch of pets (Ted does like the plushes) on four accounts. And care for a few others when they are not able; Jiffymouse, her husband, loz, etc.
Tell us your daughter's user name so we can add her to our friends list and send gifts. That is one of the funnest things to do on webkinz.

Let us know if there are specific themes she is working on or specific items she is wanting.

I just noticed on the sidebar where you are. Looks like you are close to me. I'm in Hebron KY, just on the other side of the Ohio River.

She showed up on my friends list so I just sent her a bunch of random stuff. I hope she has fun. Please let us know if she is collecting a particular theme.

Cool Rachel that we are neighbors!! wavy

And jonni, Courtney said she got a bunch of stuff from you!! Thank you so much!! She was really tickled! kissie She said to tell you thank you and that she couldn't write to you cause the mail wouldn't load. We have slow dial up and it is quite evil! devil

And as for themes.. I am not sure.. she has a boy and a girl.. the girl is a Lil Kinz.. I think she has Kovu's room, the boy, done in football.. and I think she mentioned that she wants to do Kiara's room, the girl, in pop star stuff.. why I have no idea.. I don't play..

I also heard her talking to her best friend on the phone tonight.. and she was talking about some pink tree.. an oak tree maybe.. I don't know.. but she does have an outside garden.. I don't know if the tree is something you can buy or what.. but she was saying how gorgeous it is.. (her word there, not mine) LOL

But thank you guys again.. so much for being so sweet to her!! :ding: kissie

The pink tree is a blooming cherry. I sent her some of the new pink theme today. It is fun to send gifts to the kids.

You can play on your daughter's when she is at school or in bed at night to see if you like it. And playing some of the games will earn her some money. She might like it.

you don't mean to take the time but once you start it becomes an addiction. My daughter had mad fun of me then I found out from her husband that she's on Webkinz AFTER her children go to bed.

See, that is what I mean.. My husband thinks I spend too much time online NOW. I can't imagine if I started playing on Webkinz. =( Maybe I better not even try it. Sounds too easy to get hooked.

well, husband was funny. i got a webkinz in a gift swap, and there was a joke behind what animal it was (a gorilla) that the sender didn't know, but it was a family joke. so i tossed it to my husband and told him that jessica had sent him a gift and he just tossed it back. so later, after i registered the gorilla, he came to bed (i play on my laptop, laying in bed blush and saw me playing and it was "you have a WEBKINZ shock " and i said i tried to give it to you haha so for christmas, i got him his own, and it's been on every since. he's playing now (i can hear him on his laptop haha )

Not on Webkinz. She made one at home for her pets. But you can have farm wallpaper and farm furniture and a split rail fence. Have you looked at the pictures we've posted on the other post.
