So I love my Aglaonema. When we got this guy there was about 4 stalks, but one died and one was converted to a hydro-pod. These guys REALLY grew up and I had to tie them to a post to keep them straight, but now I want to fill in the pot with more of them. So I would like to propagate these. I did some research and the best method I found was air layering. But before i go down this road....
Does anyone have any other methods to propagate these guys?

-most Aglaonema are grown from tissue culture, some at taken from cuttings
- this variety may be a patented one, so it may be illegal to propagate

-if you were to take cuttings you would cut one of the stalks off at the soil and then cut into about 2-3 inch pieces. Keep them oriented in the direction they were growing, up is up. Then stick the cutting, top side up, into a pot with a quality potting media. Stick them about half way in.

then they will root and you will have new plants.

I've had a lot more success rooting these in water and planting in soil once the roots are about 1 - 1.5 inches long.

You have a beautiful plant, by the way.
