Well, I've started fussing with my plants again . . .

FICUS ON THE LAM!

On advice from Garden Helpers', I've cut 'er back - all pray to the goddess of ficus!

A VERY MESSY FERN

This crumbled away since I brought it in - finally I cut it back. I don't know what it will do - I'll put it out in the garden this spring.

SOMETHING LESS DEPRESSING . . .

My dark coleus - there's a flowering there - I'll have to clip it off - you're not supposed to let them flower.

She's not doing that well - maybe she's run her course, dunno'. I'll be putting her up on the table again next week, so maybe I'll have some luck with it.

KALANCHOE CLEAN UP

I took all the stalks out, forked up the soil a bit, then put them back in.

JADE

This is far too big for the apartment window now - that's why it's in the office..

I remember when Jeff brought it home a couple of years ago - it was just a baby.

HIBISCUS

[Linked Image]

This isn't the 'hardy' one that we bought - this is one somebody left outside for me - I'm not sure what kind it is, but I had it identified at Garden Helpers' as a hibiscus.

It's been holding ok all winter - it will be good to see it flower come summer.

I've got a cutting going in a jar.

WANDERING JEW AGAIN . . .

[Linked Image]

This is the one we keep in the apartment over my desk - it hung outside all summer.

We've had good luck with them this year.

I didn't even buy new plants last summer - just used the clippings I had from the last winter and put them in. They go like a house on fire.
