Well, I've started fussing with my plants again . . . FICUS ON THE LAM!On advice from Garden Helpers', I've cut 'er back - all pray to the goddess of ficus! --------------------------- A VERY MESSY FERNThis crumbled away since I brought it in - finally I cut it back. I don't know what it will do - I'll put it out in the garden this spring. ---------------------------

SOMETHING LESS DEPRESSING . . .My dark coleus - there's a flowering there - I'll have to clip it off - you're not supposed to let them flower. ---------------------------- COLEUS----------------------------

KALANCHOE CLEAN UPI took all the stalks out, forked up the soil a bit, then put them back in. ----------------------------------------- JADEThis is far too big for the apartment window now - that's why it's in the office.. I remember when Jeff brought it home a couple of years ago - it was just a baby. --------------------------

HIBISCUSThis isn't the 'hardy' one that we bought - this is one somebody left outside for me - I'm not sure what kind it is, but I had it identified at Garden Helpers' as a hibiscus. It's been holding ok all winter - it will be good to see it flower come summer. I've got a cutting going in a jar. ----------------------------- GERANIUM------------------------------

CLIPPINGS------------------------------ WANDERING JEW AGAIN . . . This is the one we keep in the apartment over my desk - it hung outside all summer. We've had good luck with them this year. I didn't even buy new plants last summer - just used the clippings I had from the last winter and put them in. They go like a house on fire.
