Gabby bunch aren't we? I decided we needed a new one. I've been sending stuff out again and now I can't remember who got what.

I think I told you guys that my new room and all the contents disappeared the other day in the "major glitch" going on with Webkinz right now. Well, it was restored this morning, everything is back and I am very happy! clap

I'm glad your stuff is back. It does tend to worry you after you have all of that money and time invested in building your Webkinz world. I get worried too but I'm confident that they will always fix it.

I'm glad it's back too!!!!!

My lil kinz rabbit is so darn cute hopping around. lol

Athena got the Cow, she was all excited to tell me she got the pet of the month. I'm hoping March is something I don't already have so I can get it and get the exclusive item.

I think Athena is up to 22 presents now. Each day I've been sending her stuff from my account, my other account, and her other account! She's gonna die when she comes up this weekend and sees all her gifts!

Have you seen the new purses and figurines? The purses all come with an exclusive item. They are all new exclusives, too. Some really neat ones. And like the pets once you get a certain amount of them, I believe it's 6, you get to pick a super wardrobe that holds 15 items. The figurines come with an item kinda like the pet specific item. When you enter the first one you get a display case that will go on your wall to display the virtual equivalent to the actual figurine. I know it's all a money racket, but how cute!! Brennan loved the items that came with the purses, but I draw the line at buying purses just for the item. We will probably end up with some figurines, though.

No I didn't see those! I'd probably buy them if I did though! lol I love getting exclusive stuff with codes.

I wish my Hallmark had more than just the pets. The mall has the trading cards and pets, but I've never come across anything else in my area.

The red webkinz shirt my niece got me for christmas is so cute. I have it on my polar bear and with the code I got I was able to pick out clothing that is exclusive.

Be careful with that red shirt on the polar bear. I had read somewhere that the color had faded onto the light colored pets.

I didn't see the new stuff in stores yet. It was on the WI website that I visit. The mall here will have them soon I'm sure. It is full of everything Webkinz. Most of the stores have the clothes, cards, mousepads, bookmarks and the salon items. Brennan has been really good about sticking with just the pets and the occasional pack of trading cards.

The series 2 cards are out also. I need to see if any are around here. They have different things on them from the first series. Cool stuff like modular sofa units. Slightly darker TC furniture and I don't know what all else. But I'm champing at the bit. I won't be buying any of the clothes or purses either. Just not my thing. Nor the pencils and school supplies. Some of those items that come with the figurines are cute though.

Oooooo, I don't have that one!!! I have the big pig but not the lil pig!!!! Now the thing is I hope I can find it....most places around here don't have a ton of the lil kinz, and if they do it's cats or dogs and stuff.

Maybe I'll put the shirt on my bear Rachel, just in case......it's cute though having clothes...I never thought I'd like it but I do.

It took me forever to get to the daily activities, but it gave me a clue. If this contest is like the last scavenger hunt I'll never figure it out.

'Ask the cat....or the little laughing dog. One thing is for sure - you should make some space to find it'

Sometimes it is so nice to find out it isn't your own account or your computer that is messing up. Even when it means your friends are troubling too. I'm sorry that it is so glitchy but glad that I'm not alone.

Somehow I ended up with all Darbi's pets in one room and it took forever for me to straighten it out. One of Colby's is stuck in mid air for some reason. How do I get him down?

To get a pet that is stuck, you log out and back in. That usually works.

My sister just bought me 2 Raccoons and a Husky Dog! YAY!!!! Of course I have to pay her, but it's only $9 for each instead of my normal $12.99 that I'd pay at Hallmark. I'll get them this weekend.

I'd like the velvety Elephant too! And I read that the Monarch butterfly comes out in May of this year! I HAVE to have that one!

Who will be getting the Easter one? It's a chick right?

I think there is an easter duck. It's listed on the pets pages now.
Are you going to activate your raccoons? Or are you going to hoard one for ebay later on? There is one store here that has their pets on sale for 3/$20. Size is not a factor. They are getting out of the webkinz business. I didn't see one that I wanted though.

Three for 20 is good! I'd be tempted! lol

I'm hoarding one, if it doesn't go up much then it doesn't and I'll just have two raccoons, that's okay with me. But I about fell over when I saw the horse that my other niece has is selling for $60. If I would've known that I would've scooped them up way back when! haha

I might get the Easter Duck. Maybe I'll ask the Easter Bunny to bring me one!

I read that you were keeping one in the other thread. I'm thinking that I would wait a year and see what they go for then. The cheeky dogs and cats are going for hundreds with used codes and much more with unused.

Ladies,
What have you gotten me into? Jiffy and I went shopping this evening... we walked into a store and I found a beautiful black Lab... I picked Maggie up and brought her home with me! Jiffy found a LilKinz Lion (Larry), Pig and an elephant (Charlotte is the Pig and Loz is the Elephant). Buy one and get one at half price.... think we could have gotten out of there with two??? NOOOOOO, but we could get out of there with four! It was absolutely hilarious.... before she picked any of them up, I grabbed Maggie! Hook, line and sinker (I'm hooked)! Jiffy just had to call Loz and give her the news... Loz was laughing so hard....I love it!!!! kissie kissie kissie

I got a chocolate lab a few months ago, just because. The funny thing about the black lab is it disappears with a black background. You can't see it's eyes or anything.

I love it that out of all people SCOTT is hooked! haha Cracks me up!

I think that some of the other members on here that are webkinzless should get one! And join in the madness of it all!

I can't wait until Allison comes Saturday, I'll get my 2 raccoons and my husky! thumbup

BTW, it could've been worse for Scott and Jiffy, when I talked to her on the phone they were carrying around SIX of them.... haha

BTW, Athena has the cow for next month....but today Allison also bought her the Dalmation so she can add it when she's up here this weekend. It's cute because over the summer Athena was a puppy in 101 Dalmations play at the theatre. She's catching up to me now! lol

I told the woman in Hallmark, it's sad that I have more than my 6 year old niece....and then I always go on to tell them how I'm not crazy---that there's a whole bunch of us on here that play Webkinz. I think they think I'm crazy though. I get a little overenthused about it all.

All of my pets have been boys so far. Even the unicorn with the sparkly, pinky horn and hooves. But my cow is going to be a girl. There is no such thing as a boy cow. Of course, I could call it a steer and make it a boy. Hmmm... Thinking here.

Almost all of Athena's are girls except for maybe one or two. Mine's an equal split....some are just boys when I look at them, and some are just girls.

You could have a boy cow Tina! Although on those Cow commercials with the California cows they are always girls! haha

Tomorrow I get my new webbies....yay! And gues what? The two I'll be adding will get me another superbed!

Which bed are you going to get? They are really neat. My favorite is the dragon.

We saw the lil kinz penguin the other day. It is so cute and tiny. We may end up with that one, too. We have the big one already.

I saw the lil kinz peguin in the clubhouse the other day and you're right, it's so cute and tiny---I wouldn't mind rescuing one of them myself! lol

I don't know which bed to get--I already have the dragon bed and love it! Let me go log in and look at them real quick. It's between the butterfly, daredevil, and fantasy coach beds.....I just don't know! lol

I'm excited to get the Husky, I've never noticed it in any of the stores around here. thumbup

No. I have a third account just for my POTM. I have 2 frogs, a bear, a chihuahua and the lil golden retriever all living and gardening together. Now they will have a couple of cow helpers.
And cows are girls. Bovine males are bulls. I Love the extra exclusives that come with the POTMs

I just went in and deleted the letters I sent Athena.....her mailbox was full at 30 and I wanted to send her more gifts! haha Now I gotta push her back to 30 with presents. She'll be so excited tomorrow I can't wait!

I've been trying to get her crown of wonder too, but I never get what she needs....she needs 4 more reds and a blue.

I only have 3 accounts tedkinz, tedkinz1 and tedkinz11. Jonni has one, jonkinz13. I take care of one other. And I've been doing Jiffy and Scott's hourlies for the hours they are working.
I sent a couple of items to Athena also, I think.

You did! I saw that when I went in and opened the letters to get rid of them! lol

The other day she had a package and she said, who is this from? Tina? haha

She's also started sending random letters to people. My friend Mel got a letter from her the other day that said Good Luck, you'll need it! lol She's just learning to read and she's not mastered it quite yet!

You have a lot work with all those accounts! It must take a while each day!

No. I break the work up. In the evening after 12 I do the gardening, kinzcare, Quizzies calender and the surveys. In the morning, I try to do jobs and the rest of the dailies. In the afternoons, I do the hourlies and play games if I have time. Jobs and charm hunt whenever I can in there.
I probably only need to spend 45 minutes on all of that. I know under an hour.

lol Cool you have it all set up and scheduled out!

So here's the dilemma, my sister just told me that they got TWELVE more raccoons in their store today! If you were me would you buy more of them? I mean surely down the road I'd at least be able to sell them and break even at least. why I can't see Webkinz becoming unpopular anytime soon.

I don't know, Loz. I've passed up raccoons and unicorns that are retired because I'm not into ebay type stuff and investing like that. If I were, I would, I think. Did that make sense?
I need to add that there are a lot of people with the same ideas so there might be a glut on the market in a year or so.

its just such a good thing that the webkinz can't die...the gardens sure shrivel up and croak when you're gone for 14 days!!!. a little digging and voila! new garden! we had a great time, and our webkinz were all glad to see us when we got home, even had 2 birthdays without us, those party animals!
a pic of lilsis47 on the beach. she had just said, "i'm so happy i have tears on my eyes". no doubt in my mind.

the last trip they took was to manzanilla 14 years ago. mom won a 7 day trip on the radio contest.
they took little drives down to the springs, but that all stopped nearly 6 years ago. she loves to travel, but because of her perceptual handicaps, she gets motion sickness real easy. we love dramamine, it makes her loopy, but travel tolerant.
she was so happy to see all her webkinz again when we got home she put all of them in bed around the 2 we took to mexico.(she's so funny.) the maid had fun posing them around on her bed and on the towel sculptures they do for you.
we are going to adopt her penguin and charcoal cat this weekend. gotta think up some names, she took the cat with her, called it smokey alot, so that one is stuck, but we can't get one for the penguin,,,ah well she can sleep on it.
literally.

Nice picture. Great fun I'll bet.

The free brown paper is back tonight.

About hording and selling, I had a friend that did that with Beany Babies and made a little money but it turned out to be a gluted market.

I think the key would be to hold onto the retired item long enough that most others had sold theirs.....but before the webkinz empire falls. Maybe I'll get one or two more...I mean if anything I'll have a few raccoons....best case scenario I might make a few hundred bucks out of it.

I never got the beany baby thing. I mean they were cute but did nothing. I thin Webkinz are cuter and you get to play online.....it really a genius thing!

I still don't have brown paper back in my act.

We've got free paper on all our accounts. How strange.

I don't think I'll get into another type of online thing either. I can't keep up with all this. Maybe my grandchildren are too young because they can't keep things up and get upset when they don't have money. I got an email from Ally last night that said "please send me some food and water." I felt so sorry for her. When I went to her site she was down to $54.00. She had bought up a bunch of clothes that she'll never use so I sold them again and bought her up a bunch of food so she's good now. I've emailed 3 times about her account and I haven't had a response. Will I get a direct response or will it just turn up fixed one day.

I love it when the pumpkins grown. They are so pretty.

I like the charm forest because it is another place where you can get more money. The charms are fun and the food is good for bumping up the meters. But I like the kinzcash you get, the most.
Sheri, alt and srn prnt at the same time. put on paint and then save to photobucket or something. Then you can post it here.

I just sent her an oak pool to sell and some food. That should feed her pet for a day or two if she doesn't buy all those clothes. I have sent clothes also in the last couple of days that I got from card codes.

BTW, I win $100 KC a lot in the charm forest! Especially lately for some reason. I'm not complaining though. I like it most when you find the secret invisible door and get to open a bunch at once.

We got a pack of series 2 cards and 2 figurines tonight. Brennan got a boom box vanity from his cards. The figurines are cute. We got them at Hallmark for $2.99 each. They had them in other store for $6!! They had the purses and carriers too. They were $14 and up. We didn't get any of those.

$2.99 isn't bad Rachel! I'd buy one for that much just for the code.

The tournament arena still isn't working here, unless they are doing a rolling turn on and start out west first???? The arcade just isn't the same to me....I like trying to win and get extra $$$.

I do the survery all the time! I even go in and do Athenas and my other nieces, just to get them the extra money.

I don't play games too much but I've been on Webkinz a lot lately and I miss the TA. I just played Quizzys word challenge and won almost $300, but if I'd have done that in the TA and not the Arcade I would've probably won the extra $50. I'm greedy like that! haha

Well at Christmas I got down to $40,000 and I was getting panicky because at my highest I was up around $90,000. Right now I'm sitting pretty on about $61,000---working my way back up slowly.

I know that's a lot of money to most but darn it I like having a lot of money, so I'm doing as much as I can to get myself back up there! I guess sending Athena presents each day isn't a very good way to save up huh? lol

I guess these 2 new pets tomorrow will boost me up to 69,000.....and I still have a gold coin too. I bet if I sold off everything in all of my rooms I'd be a bazillionaire! lol Well not quite but pretty darn rich.

That's cool Tina that you got all 3 up so high....my 2nd account only has $300 or something in it.

It's all relative isn't it with the money? I bet when you get too low you get panicky even with that much money......

Can you eat the gingerbread cookie?

Where do I get charms?

You can eat it but with it being a seasonal Christmas gift/item I'm saving mine......you can't just buy them at the store so they'll be pretty rare eventually.

The charms are hard to find for me, if your stores have them you can buy them there.....or you can look around online.

I get my other Webkinz today! Raccoon and Husky dog! Athena keeps calling the husky a coyote and a wolf! haha

BTW, the funny thing is---with my rabbit---Tina---I got another room! After 10 though you don't right? And I didn't with my monkey, which I adopted before my rabbit. My rabbit is number 13.

I forgot to mention that before....that it gave me a room.

Loz, let me know when Athena's box isn't full. I tried to send a gift and it says Aunt Loz has spoiled her with tons of gifts, try again later.

I went to the curio shop a while ago and picked up a bunch of the Arte plush toys. I've been sending them out to the kids.

WELL, Aunt Loz has spoiled her a tad...and Tina helped too!

She's also Avongirl1, not sure if she's on your list with that account or not. She's gonna die when she sees all of her gifts! lol That's really nice of you to try to send her something Rachel.

And I just pushed her back up to over 5,000 today too...She had 3,000 when she left.

That is a bummer that you missed it Tina. And yeah, the room was plonked where I didn't really want it, but oh well---it was free, I'll take it! haha
