It could be your soil is too wet. Hows its growing conditions?

or if it looks like a raised legion could be Melanose

rust mite infection.they are hard to see,but you can barely detect with magnifying glass they are yellowish colored & can be controlled with a copper spray.

I don't have anything come to mind. Those are just off top of my head.I wouldn't think you'd have Melanose cause part of that cause is overhead watering, which I assume you grow in pot so you'd be watering your pot not your plant.BUT amphids can spread melanose to your plant.but it wouldn't kill your plant.

I have all my plants sitting in a south facing windows under grow lights, about 30 plants I have 5 other citrus plants but those and the rest are doing just fine, its just this one citrus plant. I let them all dry out, I do a moisture test and if they need watering I go ahead and water, this browning just started about 2 weeks ago..do you have any other suggestions?

Dale your citrus will use less water now cause are not actively growing. The grow lights will be good for them.I use to live Indpls,so you've got hard water as well. You might want to invest in one of them brita pictchers or sit on the counter water tanks that filters the water (its a square thinggy,I think it held 3 gallons...mine fell and broke so memory don't function too well at times....)
also....how far is th grow light from the plant?it may dry the edges of leaves out.

Hi..Grow lights are Mmmmm maybe about 2-3 feet from plants..I don't use the water out of the tap..yes water here is bad, I use water out of a standing machine, I fill up gallon dugs and let it come to room temp before I water..I don't even drink or cook with tap...I have banana trees, coffee plants, passion fruit trees, kiwi, guava, orange, lime, tangerine, pluremia, grapefruit, and pineapple plants..all are doing just fine, execpt this citrus plant..I moved it directly under one of the grow lights about a week ago..it looks somewhat better and the leaves that turned brown most fell off..but still doesn't like right...I don't know...

Hi Dale,

i just thought of something, i m sure joy and jiffy gave you more experience advice but why don t you try puting some evian water in an upside down little bottle (plastic and plant it at the foot of your citrus, that way they ll drink when they want to and it won t be as hard a water. i use to do that with my tomatoes, it s great for when you forget...like me... notme

good night...bonne nuit !!

Dale just continue with the lights and less watering. The plant still will look a little bad because it is stressed...it should bounce back in a bit of time.

Dale...you sound like your in zone denial.great choice of plants though. don't feel bad...I'm in zone denial too and live in a warmer zone..

Hows the snow?I'm sure you we'ren't...but I got excited when heard ya was a geting 12 inches of snow.Makes me want to take a detour so bad and go sledding at Christian park. But its cold here for 2 days, but no snow.i'll be glad to warm back up.My blood has thinned since leaveing Indpls.

Dale she's meaning you'd invert the bottle upsidedown into the soil.sometimes folks do this to water plants when go on vactions, but use 2 liter bottles, but them 16 oz bottles will do the same. They also sometimes sell little taps to screw on so it can go in deeper into soil. I know garden supply does, but don't have to have them for it to work.you can cut bottom off top of bottle for easy refilling also.
good luck with your citrus
