Good idea Loz!!

I am very excited!! I can't wait till I can go buy the paper to get the ads!

Never thought of doing video clips before but I think that will be pretty cool and funny.

Mom gets up early on turkey day and gets the paper.....when I get up I run right over so we can study the ads.

But we love it!

Last year I was up at 4am, which is miraculous for me, takes a lot to get me up that early!

I get up super early Thanksgiving morning so I can go get the paper before they are gone!

That's moms job since she's a morning person.

Really it's a miracle when I get up by 9am, so 4am is amazingly miraculous.

I am not a morning person either but nobody else is going to do it for me! Maybe James will be nice this year and do it for me since he will just be getting home from a week long hunting trip! I won't count on it though!

I can't wait for the Walmart ad....that's the one I really want to see more than any other ad....

Who do you go with Jess, your mom? Sister?

Last year I went with my mom and my sister but sometimes I just go by myself. That way I can go whichever direction I want and don't have to worry about anyone else.

Me and mom work out pretty good together, we just compromise and we pretty much want to go to the same places anyway.....

UGH, the walmart black friday ad did NOT impress me whatsoever. Don't even know if we'll go there this year or not.

I wasn't too impressed by the Wal-Mart ad either but I will wait and see what I think on Thursday. I think it is way easier to look at the actual ad than to go through the list of things on that website. It is nice to have but I have to look at the ad. I might see more stuff that I want.

So what deals are you gals gonna pick up?

I haven't seen much yet that I have to have Tamara but like I said....I will probably find stuff when I actually look at an ad on Thursday.

My walmart BF paper came in the mail today instead of being in Thursdays paper---weird...but I'm not complaining that it came early.

Still not really impressed...good deal on 3 pc womens PJ's for $10. A lightweight Bagless Vac with filter for $25. Movies for $2.96.

Oh I hope mine is there when I get home! I will go through that thing about 100 times before Friday!

I'm going over to moms with mine right now so we can study it.

We only have a Kmart, Walmart, and a Target as freestanding shopping stores here in Hutch. We do have a mall with about half it's stores standing empty. But, our stores get all the sales and promos that regular ones do and there is VERY little people to worry about. I've worked the 5am to 6pm shift more times than I care to admit, and am always surprised at how bored I am. Most people don't get shopping until 10 or 11 and then are done by the time their stomachs growl for lunch.

I've never actually gone shopping on B.F., though. Maybe I should do it this year, although I'm not sure that I want to drag out 2 little kids. But you guys said the BF ads come out on Thanksgiving, so I'll just have to scope them out and see if it's worth a trip out and about. . .

Loz we get to spend all day tomorrow looking at ads!

.....and all the next day shopping.

I woke up all excited today and full of energy.

Went to the bank and cashed my change in and my checks and I'm ready to go! Can't wait to see the paper tomorrow!

It'll be cold here Friday though, high will only be 32 so I need to bundle myself up good--the past few years it has been pretty warm .

I think we we will be up at 4am....walmart opens at 5am, but we can go inside whenever we want, they don't make you line up.....mom wants the sewing machine, and 2 of the wet vacs....and the bagless vacuum cleaner too. I might get the printer and some of the $2.96 DVDs.

Oh I was thinking about getting sewing machine!!! I thought my mom could get it for me for Christmas. I don't know a lot about sewing machines at this point so I was kind of wondering what others thought about it.

I will get up at about 4 and leave by 4:30. My mom wants to go with me and is coming to my house and we will be leaving from there. She is always early so I better get up a little before 4. I usually have her call me to make sure I am up for things like this but since it is so early I better not because she will wake the whole house up. I could tell her to call my cell and just keep that on the night stand. That will only wake James up.

THAT REMINDS ME!!! I need to find out who is doing the free wake up calls...it's tradition, I always get one even though mom calls me anyway. I'm a heavy sleeper, the other day she called 3 times before I even woke up and picked up the phone. She's always early too!

Dad is getting the sewing machine for mom for Christmas....she had an expensive one that broke....I guess for $54 it won't be the best one ever but it should get the job done.

Gotta go to Fashion Bug too, I got a $10 off coupon, of anything $10 or more---so did mom, so I def. want to use that! Bargain shopper that I am.

did you know, that the thanksgiving day paper is the largest of all news papers in nearly every city in the us? and, that the newspaper carriers have to have special bags to put them in or they will just fall apart and they WON'T fit in regular newspaper bags? and usually the special bags are sponsored by a big store like macy's? and news paper delivery people start at midnight to get them all bagged up and delivered because they are so large that it takes twice as long? i did it a couple of years, hated ever second of it!

I LOVE it, there is nothing better than the anticipation of studying that big, thick paper!

well, i'll tell you, we had a van, and we had to take out the back seats for t-g day paper! i still hate touching them now!
