I had 2 hours to kill while Amy was at her music school this afternoon after her audition at NYU today. Don and I went into the lobby of the music school - he was going to do some paperwork, and I was going to knit. But... I left my knitting pattern in the car...
So off I went to retrieve it and figured I'd give Diane a call while I was out. Little did we know, that just 2 short blocks up from the music school is...
GRANT'S TOMB!!! (not my picture - I didn't have my camera... )
So, I told Diane where I was (she being in Texas of course!), [color:#6600CC] and she looked it up online and found a site with a virtual tour of the place -
HOW COOL IS THAT? We toured Grant's tomb TOGETHER! It was great fun! Though not as much as it would have been if she had ACTUALLY BEEN THERE WITH ME! [/color]
It was a pretty Wild Tour too! Lynne was asking me "do you see the Tomb?"" I had to keep asking her what room was she in and I had to find it on the site,, Heck she was running from room to room and I couldn't keep up with her she had me out of breath and I was Just sitting here ,, clicking away to see the rooms, But I did see the Tombs of Grant and His wife,, That was kinda creepy to see two 'caskets' there,, But cool at the same time,, She had looked up and could see the Dome of the Building from the center floor,, and her voice sounded like it was awesome to see,, Well about 5 minutes later I was looking from the same view,, ,. Hey Pretty cool that I could take a trip to NY with a friend and see the sites,, and Not leave the comfort of my own home!,,.. She was cold walking outside tho,, For a bit anyway ,, and I was sitting here sweating in 80 degrees as she had called just as I had finished mopping every floor in this house,, ,, Thanks Lynne for Inviting me to Take a walk with you in NY!

They do NOT give any feedback at all, and now we have to wait until mid-December to find out if she got in or not. At NYU, if one does not get in for early decision they do NOT get considered for regular admission. It's a one shot deal.
